The BBQ was absolutely amazing! The sliced brisket was some of the best I have had anywhere in the State of Texas. The ribs was... tender and juicy. Everything we ate was delicious. It was worth the drive on a rainy Saturday. We will make this a monthly tripto enjoy some great BBQ and great customer service. Oh wow, I remember coming here as a kid and it was always good smells, great barbecue and excellent sauce. Everything was... sooooooo good! But just went today after many years and apparently new management and it was low-key disgusting. My mom and Iboth are sitting here with a bad stomach ache. The sauce is not the same and the brisket was greasy. The potato salad tasteslike someone made it from a bad Pinterest recipe ???? This is not the same Bodacious and it shows. Will NOT be back. We flew 240 miles to come eat here because it?s that good. I?ve eaten here many times in the past when traveling for work and... decided to fly in this most recent visit for pleasure. The food was excellent as always. I got a 3-meat plate that came with 2sides, plus free beans. They also have onions, pickles, etc? out for customers as well. Another Texas Monthly joint down. I?m now at 20 places out of the 50. This one definitely lived up to the hype of the #4 ranked... place in Texas. The brisket was so succulent. The sausage had a sweetness to it. Almost like a breakfast sausage. The Dr. PepperPork Belly Burnt ends we?re amazing and could have been a dessert on its on with how sweet it was. The turkey was moist. My onlydisappointment was finding out they no longer serve the Toffee Bacon Candy. It left when Scott left. Sad day. Bodacious(specifically this one) is worth going to.
