I used to love butcher franks but when I came out today to order my meat as they were getting my meat together I heard one of... the employees tell the person helping me to grab meat the frozen meat from the back that's not the fresh meat. I won't be back.I'll take my money to the Lafayette butcher. Nobody wears name tags so I can't tell you his name. And none of the employees weargloves well making sandwiches or cutting meat. Really is a great place. Had my first sub there wow 22 years ago. Best I ever had. And I have bought many since.i drive 22 miles... to get one. And lunch meat and other things .I would recommend to everyone. And it's the same employees. No turnover.tells yasomething . Awesome place. Think I will go this week. They have specialty sauces and great steaks and everything. Watch thehours I think sunday and Monday closed. But that's OK. Great stuff.oh this place is not any other sub sandwitch shop. 1st time there and it was a great experience. The staff was sharp, well dressed, and extremely helpful. I ordered a freezer... bundle, was given great options, fantastic service, and a great price. I?m so disappointed. I went in here because someone said they have grass fed meat. They don?t. I asked one of the employees and... he said in a very dull tone that it?s all grass fed and grain finished -_- that?s a line I?ve been getting fed when people don?twant to say know to my question. So fine, I needed oxtail, grabbed it from the freezer where it was completely wrapped, couldn?tsee it, purchased it from the employee with the cold demeanor. Well I get home, open it, and it?s more fat than meat. I?vebought oxtail a ton of times from many different places and it never has very much far at all. This is all fat. No wonder theywrap it in the store, no one would buy this. Oh, and I couldn?t forget the discomforting look I got from another employee soonas I entered. Won?t be returning. Read more
