This was my first time going to a Texas Roadhouse restaurant and it did not disappoint! They had a sign up to let them know if... it was your first time ever going there so I did. Found out that they'll give you a coupon for a free appetizer on a futurevisit but I told the very nice waiter that I was headed back to North Carolina and just a few hours so he arranged for us to usethe coupon on that visit. We got the blooming onion and it was so very good! I ordered the 6 oz sirloin steak with a bakedpotato and green beans. The steak was cooked to my exact request which I have been repeatedly told that it is not easy to do. Mybaked potato was absolutely delicious as were my green beans. The waiter was very energetic and very friendly. I intend to goback to Texas Roadhouse in the future because this was a fantastic experience! Read more
The only good part of our trip was that the server was good. We came in about 40min until close. We ordered pretty quickly and... he kept us full with rolls. While my steak was cooked well, it had very little taste, and what I did taste reminded me ofcooking in an old propane grill. The other two steaks we ordered were cooked wrong, but they were able to trade so no big dealthere. Here's where it gets bad. It's a few min after close and we get up to leave and I see something scurry across the floorout.of the corner of my eye. I couldn't (or didn't want to) believe it, so I went over and sure enough there is a mousechilling under the kid chairs. I flagged down the nearest staff and showed him the mouse. He said he would go get a manager. Myelderly parents move quite slow, so it took us a good 10min to make it to the front door. At no point did a manager (or anyone)say anything to us. My experience here today was the best of any Texas Roadhouse I’ve been to. I love the service that was provided. Eric was... amazing, he was immediately at our table as soon as we sat down, he got our drinks refilled before I could ask, and my food wasat my table hot and delicious. Oh did I mention my steak was perfect??? I don’t know if there’s a new manager but thingsare welcoming, very friendly and I thank you!!! I try to get into here at least once a month and today was the perfect day to bethere. The cook made my steak exactly the way I love it btw he should get a raise, the staff was amazing, everyone that walkedby my table said hello do you need anything? Longmont only has a few choices for food and this place can get pretty busy. Id recommend the call ahead online. Service is... usually pretty good and the food can be, but Lately I have to send my steaks back pretty much every visit because they areovercooked. I Ask for Med Rare they come out med or worst. If there is one thing to improve it would be the lack of kitchenawareness for the Temps on steaks. I think it's good food overall and usually great service, just be prepared to have to sendyour steak back if you don't like chewing on leather shoes. Read more
The food came out fast, hot and amazing as usual! We did think the additional $4 shrimp add on was a little under cooked. Our... service was excellen and far superior to any other establishment I've been to recently. The environment and atmosphere wasvery family friendly. And the entire restaurant erupted when It was announced that somebody had a birthday to celebrate. Thiswas an excellent date night with my love! Great job Tex!! Read more
Good Potterhouse T-bone steak but I bite into a piece of thingy that felt like a smaller oval piece of Leather.. told the server... and she said she will let the kitchen knows.. will she??! Lol My husband had the Bacon cheeseburger and it looks really yummy. Read more
This is the first time I am having food from this restaurant. And I am completely amazed. The moment you enter you will be... greeted with bread. One of the finest sweet bread and directly out from oven. That much fresh and even hot. They gave theirsides first, the potato soup OMG, no words for that soup. This was my first time here and I was extremely impressed. Excellent example of American friendly culture and good food. Beer... was ice cold, service was friendly, and the food was good.
