Bigger than it looks and very comfortable. Met friends for lunch and was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. Brown rice... is available for an upcharge. Lunch came on pretty segmented plates with egg roll, cheese wonton, dab of mustard and pool ofsweet and sour sauce, rice and entree. Ordered chicken chow mein, with wonton soup. Also teriyaki chicken with fried rice. What came to me looked like boiled... ingredients in a bento box that were meant to be stir fried with the noodles for chow mein. No noodles to be found. Triedcalling to understand maybe it was an honest mistake. The lady proceeded to tell me I had it confused for lo mein and that thereshould have been a separate little bag with real crispy noodles in it. Which there was not. Tried explaining I'm aware of thedifference and that there were no noodles anywhere. Also chow mein is like lo mein but the noodles are stir fried in with themeat and veggies. Which these were not even stir fried themselves. She just kept replying with "You have it confused for lomein." I just gave up the conversation and hung up. My husband and I have ordered often over the years, our favorite Chinese restaurant in Longmont. We always order the same meals.... Lo Mien w/ everything, Pork Fried Rice, and I get the Mongolian Beef. Even though the M.B. is marked as spicy, it's not superspicy.... Last night we ordered our regular items and my Mongolian Beef was almost unbearably spicy. Tons of red pepper flakesin it. My husband could barely eat it without tears running down his face and sweat on forehead. This was very unusual and musthave been an accidental overdose of red pepper flakes. For some reason I thought they would add a red pepper or 2 for spice butmaybe I'm wrong. This was like the cap fell off of the red pepper flakes and half the bottle fell into my food. Veryunusual. This is the first time I've left a review though. We have always been pleased with everything. Next time we order I'llrequest less red pepper flakes. Otherwise it was perfect as usual. Fast service and huge portions. We get dinner size and haveleftovers. We do recommend this restaurant and will always bei back.... unless the red pepper flake overdose becomes a habit,which I doubt will be the case. Read more
