Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to answer with only 2 other cars in stalls, placed a drink order with 3 small slushes and 2... drinks, staff came out 2 minutes later to ask if we were waiting on something, explained we had just placed a drink order,waiting to pay amd receive order, he walked in then came back to us and asked what drinks we ordered. We just told them tocancel it and left. I can honestly say I have never had this experience at any Sonic we've ever been to even though we don't gooften. 1247 on a Sunday, not busy yet you could tell customs were receiving wrong orders and service was slow. Their staff members are sweet and friendly to the best of their capabilities, but the quality of drinks being made at any given... time of day is terrible. Most recently, we ordered both a strawberry and a cherry limeade. It seemed as though the lime wasexpired and the drink was definitely ?off? overall. We went back an hour or so later to see if they would remake it and theywere so understanding and helpful when resolving the issue. The second time we came around was during a different shift, and theemployee that kindly remade our drinks was efficient, attentive, and more sober than the worker from our earlier encounter atthis drive-thru. Did anyone else know you cant make two separate orders in your car here???? Is it really that hard? Just like next car coming... thru. Shouldnt even get one star. They need to teach there staff about customer service! Guy was rude wouldnt do two orders,barely wanted to speak and they have him in drive thru...? Then asks if I wanna talk to manager after I just asked to speak tomanager??????????? then she sticks with no double orders but they laugh while Im speaking. This is ridiculous. Ordered a mini Oreo& Reese's master shake from the menu, listed at$3.29. The employee charged me for extra Reese's at$3.88. I... explained that I didn't want extra Reese's, I just wanted the menu item as seen in this picture. They told me they can't makeprice adjustments, and I explained that I didn't want a price adjustment, I just wanted them to honor the menu price. Themanager came out to my car, where I pointed out what I wanted and the price. The manager got pretty nasty at that point, toldme he was charging what he wanted, scared my kids and said he was denying me service. (Literally, as we were driving away, mykids said, "That was really scary.") Won't be returning. Pro-tip: The employees at Culvers are always super polite. I haveeven seen them have the patience of saints with truly belligerent people (I can promise that I am not one). They also have thesame shakes. We got bigger ones that ended up actually being cheaper than Sonic because of a promotion they were running. Saveyourself some irritation and go to Culvers. Response to owner: I did ask this employee for the customer service number, and hetold me "No, I'm not giving you that, you can come here and talk to the owner tomorrow." Thank you for providing the number,which I also found online, along with a customer service email page that I utilized. The quality of food did not match up to the Sonic name. The staff were mostly friendly and the food came relatively fast. It was... cold and the taste was off. The shake was almost water. The chicken seemed cooked a day ago. There were no real positive flavorsunfortunately. We won't be back at Sonic again, which is a shame because we've looked it in the past. :( Read more
The food was as expected the great thing about sonic and it?s consistency however, the team lead is the one who took my change... it was 6.some change and I just knew I had about 12 dollars coming back not even worried about the change. I gave the team leada 20 and she needed to get change, when she came back is the reason I review, she was given change to break the 20 dollar bill Ihad given her to cover my cost when she came back she had a dude with her that had given her 20 dollars in small bills justseemed frustrated and told her ?I told you not to give her that? now if I hadn?t been the type of person I am I would have justthrown it in my bag and never known the wiser but I handed it back as he asked and to be clear this is not the reason forreviewing it was that the team lead is the team lead in my mind I know that she is capable and in charge of the shift lead and Ithink got a little overwhelmed with the whole change situation and therefore do not feel she deserved to be talked to like shewas. Respect especially for in this scenario for your leads is vital it?s what makes or breaks a crew like it or not the teamlead is the manager when the manager is away. I am a chef by profession and use to work at sonic 9 or 10 years ago and I was ateam lead and have never been talked to like that nor have I in my 6 years of active profession. Read more
