My husband and I stopped here on our way from Denver to Estes Park. It was lunchtime so we didn?t try any breakfast items, we... ordered the BLT and the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon. Both of our sandwiches were HUGE with delicious crispy bacon. Theydo not skimp on the bacon! That?s the way straight to our hearts. The server was attentive and the inexpensive prices won usover. I was going to rate 4 stars due to the wait time, however I know current staffing issues are entirely out of our control. The... attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, even with only two waitresses, and the amazing food more than made up for it. Thisplace is amazing. We ordered "The Beast" breakfast burrito with bacon and green chili, and country fried steak with hashbrowns,eggs, and a blueberry muffin. The country fried steak was delicious and the burrito is one of the best I've had in a long time.I would definitely come back for another. The wait time for the food wasn't insanely long. The staff is incredibly friendly andthe restaurant has a nice homey feel. Highly recommend stopping here if you're the area, it's definitely a hidden gem. Read more
This place is one of the best new restaurants that I have tried, in the last few years. We dined in for the first time, and we... were truly amazed with the service and the staff. The food is very tasty and properly prepared. The portions are enormous. Out of this world, really, and so few people know about it. Everybody is friendly, both staff and customers, and we could tellthat some of them come there very often. We were there yesterday, and are planning to go there today, again. Totallyrecommended. Wow! What a gem in our community. I have wanted to visit for 2 years now, but not open for dinner. Finally went for lunch. ... Busy but quick. What a hidden gem! Unpretentious place with great food and wonderful, friendly, and fast service. Food is reasonably priced and... comes in large portions. As a fan of diners, I know the outside doesn't always tell you about the food inside. Maggi's is just like this. Outside, you... may decide to give it a pass. You'd be making a mistake if you do. The food here was excellent and the service was quick andfriendly! When you walk in, catch the attention of the waitstaff and they will probably tell you to sit anywhere and they willbe right with you. The food was fresh, tasty, and large portions were had by all! Great place, my server RayRay was awesome and made me feel completely welcome. She recommended the Chicken Fried Steak even... though it wasn't homemade. It was very good, also recommended the country potatoes. You got a huge amount of them. They werealso great. Huge coffee mugs, I only needed 1 for my normal morning 2 cups!
