Reviews for Longmont Public House in Longmont, CO
This place is so good I started leaving my review before I even left the restaurant. We had tried this place through Doordash... and it was so good on delivery we decided we had to go try it in person. Service is a bit slow- but as to be expected duringthe server shortage right now (seriously... be nice if you're going out to eat, it happens). BUT the food was SO GOOD I wouldn'tcare if I had to wait an hour to get seated, and another for my food. The drinks are bomb, everything is very well cooked, andthe manager/servers are fun and super nice. It's my new favorite restaurant in town, and my partner and I plan on making it ournew regular date place. Read more
Don't let the initial exterior of LPH fool you. Located in an older plaza next to an Anytime Fitness, you'd most likely pass it... by. Turn the corner and you will see an amazing patio just calling your name. But, make sure to see the hostess first ;) Abeautifully renovated interior greets you with a friendly staff and comfy lounge seating area. A spacious bar and table seatingthroughout. Bathrooms are cramped but clean. Make your way to the spacious and cozy outdoor patio complete with a fire pit andpatio warmers. Such a cute and cozy exterior to enjoy time with family and friends for a superb dinner. 1) For an appetizer wesplit the Brussels. Let us tell you, this small skillet packs amazing flavor! I want to recreate this at home for sure! 2)Entree 1: Chicken Piccata which came with mashed potatoes, green beans and carrots. The lemon caper sauce was divine and thepotatoes made to perfection. Veggies were cook perfectly Al dente and great flavor! 3) Entree 2: Steak Frites. The chimichurriwas AMAZING. Steak cooked to a perfect medium rare. Can’t say it was the most tender steak, so that was slightlydisappointing. Further, the truffle fries that came with it weren’t very “truffle-y”. In fact, we couldn’t tasteanything other than crispy fries….which were tasty. But not what was expected. Last thing on the list was service. Everyonewas super nice and helpful. BUT, they were too helpful. We had 5-6 people asking the same questions over and over. It gotslightly irritating as we couldn’t fully enjoy our meal or conversation. I think a little more communication amongstthemselves and “reading the table” would be a good plan. Overall, we loved this place and certainly will be back if we arein the area! Read more
Fun bar with several custom cocktails. All day happy hour on Sundays. Food and service were very good.
I don't really write reviews, but this place was PHENOMENAL. The Poutine was amazing, so we're the Margaritas and the Buffalo... Mac and Cheese. Seriously awesome! Plus, service was excellent. We were checked on several times to see if everything wasgood. AWESOME! Read more
Waitress was friendly.. food not to bad ... the Wednesday $5 burger was really good deal. But they really need to improve the... Poutine or take it off the menu. Read more
Firstly, service was fantastic. Super attentive but not overly so. Food was fantastic (had the Reuben with sweet potato fries)... and the Happy Hour Manhattan with top notch. Sorry to not included the excellently plated dish, it was too tasty to not diveinto Read more
My nephew and I visited on a Sunday evening, and there was no waiting time. We were greeted immediately and cordially and shown... to our table. Our waitress was fantastic, and sadly, I do not remember her name, but the entire staff was friendly andprofessional. They have a full, well-appointed bar, but we chose to stick to soft drinks. The menu (available in REAL printform for dinosaurs such as I) is offered as an electronic code scan thingy for your phone, which my nephew used while I peruseda print version. The selections are varied, and many seemed original to the restaurant; I want to try ALL of them! We selectedthe Shepherd's Pie (nephew) and Chicken Quesadilla (for me). The portions were extremely generous, and both of us finished onlyhalf our meals. BONUS: we both had lunch for Monday! I was offered (and sorely tempted) to have a piece of coffee cake (a supersecret, only-the-head-chef-has-the-recipe) for dessert, but I was stuffed. I noted they have a patio with a huge fire pit whereI believe I'll dine next time. I highly recommend the Longmont Public House to everyone. Our neighbor diners included an oldercouple, perhaps enjoying an anniversary dinner and a young couple with a cutie pie toddler. All seemed to enjoy theirvisit/dinner. FIVE ????? from me! Read more
All of this time of living in Longmont and I have not been to Longmont Public House. Finally, my mom said let's go there for... lunch! I was excited to check it out because it's right by my old high school. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in and seewhat the atmosphere looked like. I love the brown tones and how open the space was. It was inviting and everybody was smilingeven though they were busy. The service was quick and our single waitress who was also the bartender was getting it all done, although at times she seemed a bit overwhelmed. It's probably not her fault, just short-staffed. The manager was very nice andaccommodating and the food was fantastic. I ordered a turkey wrap with french fries and I loved that it was warm and had adelicious dressing inside. The fries were excellent. My mom ordered a Reuben sandwich. It was huge and she loved it. This issomething that we could have shared but it also looked delicious. I would recommend visiting this place at any time! I'll bebringing my husband back here ASAP. Thank you for the great service and food! Please stay open in Longmont! Lol Read more
