Absolutely bangin delicious chicken. Tried a mix of all 3 kinds and each one was excellent. Way larger pieces than average for... takeout chicken. The jerk was on the spicier end of what I can handle but very enjoyable, and I feel like my spice tolerance ispretty average. If you are really into spicy food, this one is for you. Mac was good, the vegetables were the least exciting butstill good. Lots of food for the price, I'm a bigger dude and I'm totally full after the takeout meal deal. Definitelyrecommend. Read more

The atmosphere is delightful, the food is delicious, and the staff are cheerful and friendly! This place is awesome! The Jerk... chicken is spicy and has a slow burn element that is so tasty. We got the jerk chicken and stewed curry chicken. The jerk chicken was spicy and super flavorful, and the stewed curry chicken... was tender and packed with flavor. So the food is worth the visit on it own! The staff was exceptionally helpful and walked usthrough the entire menu, giving samples of food along the way. The staff also make it worth the visit and are great if you haveno idea what to order! Try out their vita-malts with the jerk chicken or dip your mac n cheese in the stewed curry chickensauce! I was fortunate enough to stumble across this restaurant while meeting my wife for lunch. We had planned on getting tacos next... door, but being huge fans of Caribbean food we decided to give Island Woman a try. I am so glad we did. The snapper in coconutlemon butter was amazing, well worth the wait while the fresh snapper was scaled and filleted, and the red beans and rice andplantains were absolutely delicious. The owner and her son greeted us immediately . She discussed all the products for sale in her store .She offered us samples of... the food and WOW it was all DELICIOUS!!! Wonderful woman owner who was not shy about making recommendations when we asked her for help on what was good. The food was... plentiful, tasty, and very much homemade. My husband loved the jerk chicken, loved the spice levels, and the flavors. The redpeas and rice were super flavorful, and the fried sweet plantain was delicious. I had the stew curry chicken, and it's certainlywhole chicken cooked so that the bones lent flavor to all the vegetables and the rice. Authenticity was key, and they offered myhusband a ginger malt non-alcoholic beverage that was really unique. I was grateful that they had no-sugar seltzers for all thatI really wanted to try out the hibiscus lemonade. I just can't handle the sugar these days. My wife and I finally tried this place. It. Was. Delicious! I had the jerk chicken which was super flavorful and falling off the... bone. My wife had the lemon coconut salmon which was stellar. We shared sides of the mac & cheese and the rice and beans mix,both were absolutely delicious! There are also tons of hand made, non-edible goods to check out as well.
