Be aware of hidden fees! ???? We understand the need to raise prices, however menus prices should always be updated. Nothing was... noted anywhere to additional fees until you get your receipt, at the bottom, in tiny print. THIS IS DECEITFUL! Their reason forthe additional 4% fee? Sure, maybe legit... to help pay the servers & pay their benefits. Customers are now expected to help paythe staff & their benefits... on top of tipping them. Possibly acceptable. But NOT when it's hidden until after you've ordered &eaten. If it is for "good reasons" & there's nothing "to hide", then why not post this information up front for customers toapprove to ahead of time? We went on Father's Day. They said wait time was 30 minutes to be seated but we waited 50 minutes.Once seated, the waitress informed us it would be another 40 minutes for our food because they were taking phone orders & werebacked up. I've been wanting to try Georgia Boys since they were a tiny place in Superior a few years ago. Never had a chance then, but... happy to report they did not disappoint! The chicken, pork, ribs and hot links were all smoked to delicious perfection. Thesides are all good, but my favorite was the sweet potato casserole. I highly recommend Georgia Boys for its incrediblyflavorful and juicy offerings. You can add your favorite sauces to your liking. Unfortunately/fortunately, it was so good, Iforgot to take pictures. Some of the best BBQ I have ever from outside of the southern US. This is a mostly dry rub style place and you can add as little... or much of their amazing sauce as you want (and the way it should be). The ribs were perfectly done, moist and fall off the bonethat were seasoned nicely that compliments the meat and doesn't overpower the slow, smokey good cooking. Sides were just asdelicious too with potato salad (GF), that wasn?t a traditional southern style I ever had before but still good, and the bakedbeans were thick and heavy with a lot of meat thrown in. Recommended by friends, food was great. We had the brisket, pulled pork and chicken and the meats were tender and great. The... seasoned fries were really the best I've had and the sweet potato casserole was top notch. There is a nice outdoor dining areaand indoor with sports on big screens. Our waitress was very nice! Yum! I tasted the pulled pork, brisket, and brisket burnt ends--all were delicious and not dry. Since these guys are from... Georgia I went with the pulled pork on a sandwich with their Carolina-style vinegar sauce--heaven on a bun!! The slaw isslightly sweet with apples and little bits of red bell pepper--I tried a little with the sandwich but I have to admit I loved itbetter on its own. The beans were so chock full of meat that they should be listed on the menu as meat & beans. The friendlyserver said it was the owners' grandmothers recipe--I wish my grandma had made them when I was a kid! Finally they have a broadand decent beer selection. Highly recommended!! Read more
