Walked over to this place on a visit to Longmont. The reviews for the baked goods are spot on, exactly what I was looking for on... a Sunday morning. Yes, they are pricey for Colorado standards (pretty much on par with Tartine in SF?quality and price wise). Iwas told somewhat politely that dogs aren?t allowed in the bakery, which I understand for dining in (Which I obviously wasn?tintending on doing). For walk up/to go orders I really don?t see why they aren?t allowed. Their outdoor seating is dog friendlyI?d assume?but maybe I?m wrong. I?d love to come back here before I leave, but I?m just not entirely keen on supportingbusinesses that have a very outspoken no-dogs policy. **Update based on owner?s response: I had no intention of dining in, andwas making a purchase through the separate entrance indicated. I love the food here but man the attitudes of the owners is unbearable. They act like they're the most prestigious bakery in the... United States which leads to some pretentious pricing ($25+ for a 13" pizza?!? Get over yourselves). I'm sure they'll screenshotthis review and post it on their Instagram story because they can't handle any kind of negative feedback and act like childrenwhen someone leaves them a review they don't like. I made the drive from Denver--totally worth the trip and then some. The pizza was divine, and the ginger molasses cookie is... wonderful! Everyone I talked to was super kind. I absolutely look forward to visiting again so I can try more things ???? plus Ineed to come when Primative is open across the street so I can do pastries and beer ???? Read more

Absolutely delicious and amazing bakery. Great selection, I wanted to buy everything! They have coffee and you can get pizza... too. We got there at opening and there was a line. It was my first time so I'm not sure if it's always like that or it wasbecause of Mother's Day. Either way -worth the wait to get a delicious breakfast. I love blueberries and these were perfect. Theright amount of blueberries and they were sweet and ripe. Highly recommend! Read more
I'm a pizzialo from the east coast, I make Neapolitan pizza and I've tried almost every DC and NYC institution (2amys,... Roberta's, Kesté). That said this place is absolutely fantastic, the pizza quality is evident in the balance of ingredientsthey use in addition to the quality. The sausage is well executed and the pesto is a perfect balance of flavors on the pizza.The tomato sauce is well balanced with the acidity and "minerality", it shines through the toppings and balances the creamymozzarella used which is fresh and blistered just the right amount. The crust leoparding and and flavor is great, you can tastethe natural starter they use which is no easy feat to accomplish with Neapolitan pizza. Pepperoni quality was alright, it wasgreat it was pork only, as a friend of mine can't have beef, but I wish it could have cupped a bit more with some more fat / oilcoming out of it for more flavor. Lastly the crust is very digestible, you can smash more than half of the 16 inch pie and feelfull yet light. I hadnt visited Babettes since they left RiNo in Denver and thankfully the pastries were as fantastic as ever. I bought a bag... full of pastries for the long drive and while everything has been great the blueberry/cheese danish was particularlyoutstanding. If youre ever randomly near Longmont Babettes is very much worth the visit. Read more
