Had a great weekend stay here. Great location, everything was very clean, and the bath house was warm, well kept, and easy to... access. My favorite was the fire in the courtyard, it added great ambiance and plenty of warmth on the chilly nights. I wasearly to bed, early to rise, and slept well. The atmosphere of the lodge was warm and inviting. The hosts really make the placespecial! There were super friendly, and communication was great. What great, friendly people! I made a mistake in booking a one bed room when we needed two beds and they accommodated us! Very... friendly folks and an amazing atmosphere. Beautiful bar/restaurant and outdoor area with live music. Rooms are very dated butcomfortable and clean. No private baths in the room but bath house was clean and accommodating.. I'd come back. Comfortable place to go, relax, and unwind. They have all the essentials plus a little more. You can drive your RV, connect it,... and enjoy your day on or around many things to do around the river and trails. If you like to camp, set your tent up in one ofthe sites right on the creek, nothing like the sounds of nature to sing you to sleep. Oh, you are not a camper, well enjoy oneof the rooms they have next to the lodge, super convenient. And nothing to worry about, spend your day exploring then come backand relax with dinner, live music, an open fire pit, and the comforts of the bar. No driving, just walk back to your site andrest for the next day's adventures. I have been several times and it is on my list of things that keep me grounded and focussedon what is really important in life. I highly recommend this place! Read more

We had an amazing stay here! This was a perfect place to primitive camp but also have a nice bath house near by to freshen up.... The location on the river was amazing. Matt was a great camp host. The area has lots to explore including the Chattooga riverand so many waterfalls. We will definitely visit again! Read more

I can't say enough good things about Chattooga River Lodge as well as the community they're in. Matt and Teresa are amazing, the... hiking, waterfalls and swimming holes are easily accessible and breathtaking! The staff at the lodge are friendly and helpful!The music was amazing and the overall feel of the place is magical. We took the whole family this weekend and we all had thebest time! Mat and Teresa are great hosts. Live music and great food at Willy's Tavern at the Lodge. The restaurant has added a new chef... and his brisket special was amazing. We have camped there and stayed in the lodge rooms. Highly recommend either choice. Can'twait to book our next trip! Love this place! We stayed in a Lodge room back in April, and just spent 3 nights for the 4th of July in the RV campground. ... Both accommodations were great! We had lots of food and drinks at the Tavern both trips. Very good food, friendly service andlive music! Also a very large drink menu with full bar.
