Best kosher steakhouse, probably better than most places in Manhattan! All the dishes we ate were phenomenal, plating as well... was beautiful. We had the sticky Korean ribs, probably the best dish of the night. We also enjoyed the beef cheek taquitos, spare ribs and chocolate soufflé - rich but light and fluffy! They were fully booked for regular tables, but we sat at the barand actually really enjoyed it! Nice amount of options, but they are quite expensive. Still highly recommend! Read more

We had a reservation at salt for 8:15pm when we arrived there was a line out side as well as inside of people waiting for a... table Within minutes a staff member came up to us and asked us if we're checking in we said yes and gave our name we were seatedwithin 5 minutes The ambiance in the restaurant is like no other in the tri state area. From staff to the food everything wasexceptional and every dish that came out was better then the other. (Sushi is a must try it was absolutely spectacular) Sohere's the fact there is no other kosher restaurant that can even come close to salt! You must try it for yourself Read more

Came here on a busy holiday weekend and the food did not disappoint, although the service was definitely lacking. All of the... appetizers were fantastic. Karaage (fried chicken) was my favorite, along with the lamb riblets and the tacqitos. I really likedthe decor and the ambiance of the restaurant. However, even with many servers, the drinks and mains were delayed. The issueappeared to be in the lack of servers, and many people seemed to be looking around for their servers. Overall, all of theappetizers were great and the sushi was excellent. Don't expect any spicy mayo though. When the steaks arrived, one wasunderdone (despite a very detailed description in the menu). Steaks didn't come with appetizers, and they also charged us $5 foreach bearnaise sauce. Also, the burger I got was reputable, but dense and dry, and smaller than the bun it came in. No saucesother than a bacon jam, and the way it came with lettuce tomato and raw onion on the side reminded me of a burger at a cheapdeli rather than a $45 burger. Overall, I would definitely go again, but I would want to make sure it's not at a peak hour. Costwas $240 per person, but two people didn't have mains and one was sent back, so not sure of the point of comparison. Read more

Meter street parking or there is a garage next door, for $20. Place has a modern vibe. Made reservations on a Sunday night, but... wasn't necessary. Place was very busy, but there were open tables. Food was good, but way over priced. The staff was amazing. There was a very difficult guest sitting next to us, that sent her steak back 3 times because she didn't want to taste the grill(what!). The staff and management team handled it with patience and grace---amazing how patient they were. We ordered the duckand waffles for appetizer, and a bowl of the soup of the day which was a corn puree. Duck and waffles was delicious, tender redand juicy--so good. The corn soup was a bit bland and not worth $17---it's soup. I opted for the $46 salt signature burger whichis not just ground beef, it's a mixture of meats. I was expecting a really good burger but it was very dense and slightly overcooked and had a weird texture (I asked for medium cook and it was well done--i dont send back food unless its unedible, it wasstill edible and tasted good). Husband got the rib eye, he loved it. Great cook and flavor on the steak. While the staff wasvery attentive and wonderful, the service was slow....I'm pretty sure it was due to the chick next to us sending her stuff backso many times (eyeroll). I have dined at high end/expensive restaurants before, this was by far one of the most expensive. Wewill likely not return due to the cost. They do add gratuity to the bill, which I never like (high end or not). In the end, thestaff earned their tip, but we likely won't return due to the over pricing. $240 for the 4 items I just mentioned is a bitmuch---with no cocktails, we had bottled water (@ $9/bottle).
