A nicely decorated trendy restaurant. The wait staff is friendly and the service is quick. It wasn't crowded when we were... there, but the brick walls and other hard surfaces make for a noisy dining experience. The onion soup was excellent. It'stopped with a mix of pepper jack and Colby cheese with just a touch of extra zing. The onions in it are Vidalia, so, superb. The steak tidbits on garlic bread we're also quite good and the sweet potato fries were excellent. This was our first timeeating here and the menu is very interesting many intriguing dishes. We're planning on coming back with friends and family tosample the other menu items. Read more
Loved our maiden visit - first time in this area as well as in this restaurant. Live music was extremely loud and very out of... tune - but that opened it up for loud family conversations without worrying about others. Food was served piping hot andsuperbly fresh. I went with the smokehouse burger - loved the quality of the meat, and was able to finish only about halfway.Kids loved the penne and the chicken fingers. The Asian marinated skirt steak was superb. The blackened tuna wrap wasdelicious. Now that we see this is a fun area to visit - and the food at JJ?s is awesome - would likely visit again! Read more
Pretty decent restaurant or you can call it a sports bar, nice atmosphere to hang out and chill. We went there for Valentine's... dinner, probably not the best choice for special occasions, we didn't know and now you know. If you're looking to have a nicetime out with friends and folks amongst a friendly crowd, this place is definitely for you. Lastly, the staffs are friendly andnice. I gave three stars to average it out. The chicken quesadilla was delicious. The wings were okay. The burger was dry and... disappointing. The french fries were great. My tacos were good. Our waitress was very good. There was live music. Read more
My wife and I eat out a lot. Most places lack quality service. Not here. Ryan was probably the best server we ever had! The food... was spot on as well. Didn't love the calamari, as some other reviewers did, however, the portion was a good size. The mapleglazed ribeye was very good and the Chilean sea bass over tomato risotto my wife loved! Good atmosphere, live music and a fewblocks away from the boardwalk. I definitely recommend! Read more
The restaurant really blew my mind, and this all happened because of my girlfriend picking out this place. We?ve been to Long... Beach so many times that I can?t believe we didn?t try this place sooner! The customer service and the food was simply amazingand I highly recommend it. 2 steaks, a pizza, some sushi like appetizer and of course dessert omg so good! Read more
