Delicious food and awesome service. We had made reservations and were quickly seated. The waitress was extremely friendly and... patient with us. The lobster bisque was amazing and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had ordered the special for the night. Searedahi tuna with seaweed salad. It was delicious and well seasoned. Seared perfectly. Also don't forget to add the French friedlobster to your meal. Read more

Caught a table here right at sunset located right next to a marina beautiful view of the sunset..the fried lobster tail was... recommended and I was not disappointed!! fabulous!! waitress Siobhan was great had the Thai Chili calamari lobster bisque andthe crab cakes and all were phenomenal.. left enough room for the Chocolate Brownie dessert!! not to be missed.. was told to getmy own next time.. Howard?s is always our go to for a special night out to dinner on the island. Their NE clam chowder is one of the best. Always... friendly staff. They should put up some better sound dampening decor because it is very very noisy. Read more

Decor was nice. Friendly service. Food was ok... not anywhere worth the price. Rip-off level pricing. $50 for a seafood combo... is way too much. Even a simple chicken dish was $30. It's BYOB. Read more

Decent food, but portions have shrunk and it is extremely noisy. But my biggest disappointment is in the way they've trained... their waitstaff. I experienced a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence as I was leaving this evening. When the waiter brought the billfor our party of 8 and handed it to my wife, she heard him say "gratuity is included," and she relayed this message to me as hewas standing at our table, and as she handed me the bill to sign. Logically, I did not add a tip. In reality, he must have toldher "gratuity is not included." But, instead of politely correcting her misunderstanding, he returned to our table 30 secondslater (while we were still finishing our meal) and picked up the signed check. To be clear - I have been dining out for 40 yearsand I have never witnessed a waiter pick up a signed bill before I leave the table, unless the restaurant is closing. Fiveminutes later, he followed us to the parking lot to find out if "there was a problem with the service." The only problem withthe service was in the way in which he disingenuously handled a misunderstanding of which he was clearly aware - i.e., heclearly realized that my wife misheard him; otherwise, he would have done as he has been trained and not picked up the billwhile we were still finishing our meal. In other words, he could have corrected her mishearing at the time he heard it - or evenafter he picked up the bill while we were still at our table - instead of following us to the parking lot. For the record -outside of this odd situation, our waiter was very polite and ended up with a tip that was more than 20%. Read more

We had dinner here last week on vacation. I remember eating dinner at Howard's with my parents when I was a child so it was fun... to bring my daughter for the first time. We did not have a reservation and were seated at a table in the center of the roomwhich was close to the a/c vent and quite chilly. The food was excellent. I had the fried founder and my daughter had clams andmussels and we split a bottle of wine. We were too stuffed for dessert. Our server was a lovely young woman who providedoutstanding service. We will definitely be back but will make a reservation next time. Read more

07/26/2021 - The wait staff was very friendly but had to keep asking for the waiter. It took a while for anything to get done. I... had to keep asking for drinks and they didnt keep our drinks full. They sat us at a table for 2 right away without a wait at700pm. I would recommend calling and making a reservation they were really busy. They charge for every soft drink. No freerefills. The food was really good but on the expensive side for the serving size. We didnt get dessert because it looked likeyour typical desserts you find at Applebee's. The men's bathroom was clean but small. The woman's bathroom was dirty and neededto be cleaned right away as per my wife. The bathrooms are located towards the middle of the restaurant right in a very busyfood and drink area. Be careful. The restaurant was quiet at first but got louder as the night went on. Not a big deal if youdont mind the noice and chatter. The parking is tight and I didn't see any handicap parking. I would recommend this restaurantto everyone in the area who likes a high end dinner.
