The young man who served us was well trained and very attentive and courteous. The hamburger I had did not look that... appetizing. It looked smashed. It was literally just a thin hamburger patty stuck between a small bun, and a few fries on theside. I know it just Waffle House, but, I think they have room for improvement on their hamburger. Tony and Trey were great, went above and beyond during a busy crusin the coast week. We sat at the Waffle house just up the road... for 45 minutes and never even got a drink, left and came to this location and received awesome timely service. I wish they had good coffee, but am usually very happy with Waffle House otherwise. was very happy with my vegetarian meal. .... However, my friend's waffle was unacceptable and she sent it back. The replacement was excellent. One of her over-medium eggswas overdone but the very competent waitress replaced it before she could ask. Delightful Waffle House with ocean views and friendly service. I took my boyfriend to this location for breakfast the last day... of our trip. We have been going to this location for a few years. The staff are usually very attentive and makes sure our food comes the way... we like it. However, yesterday was a different story. Our waitress Emma might be wondering why we didn't tip. This is why...oureggs were not cooked right. I asked for fresh coffee and got the bottom of the pot like warm. The waffle was paper thin. Iasked for onions in my hashbrowns and it didn't have them. And she only came back to our table once after I sent my eggs back. Agood waitress is attentive, smiles and makes sure the order is right before they bring the food. I retired from food service andI do know what I'm talking about. IF we ever go back I will sit in the older waitresses section because whenever she is ourwaitress our food is fabulous. Read more
