As a new member of the Gulf Coast community, I asked some local folks for a recommendation for lunch. WOW!! Long Beach Market... & Deli has spectacular food and great, friendly service. I had the steak sandwich, fully dressed, with au jus. Perfectly puttogether, packaged well for to-go, and so delicious. The store also has a wonderful selection of beers - including singles thatyou can buy while you wait. Not to mention the desserts. There is also a nice outdoor seating area. I will definitely comeback - it's such a down-home, enjoyable atmosphere. Who wouldn't love it? Give it a try! Read more
Great food made fresh and a friendly staff. I usually get the falafel wrap in naan flat bread w/spring mix, tomatoes, red... onions, cucumbers & tzatziki sauce. Comes with a side of hummus & pita. Delicious!! Read more
I was recommended to go here by a customer and wasn't disappointed. The exterior is unassuming and for all intents and purposes... looks like a run down convenience store... but the food is great.. or at least the sandwich I had was. Place order at theregister and wait for someone to bring it out to you.. lots of options so I went with the customer recommendation which Iforgot the name of. Some Korean barbecue sandwich. I have eaten here many times before, But it has been about 8 or 9 months since the last time. I have always loved the food, but... today I ordered sweet and sour chicken, crab Rangoon and shrimp fried rice. I have to say that I will not go back. Tha friedrice had way too much soy sauce and very little amount of shrimp. The crab Rangoon was just bad tasting, it was not like anycrab Rangoon I have ever had. The sweet and sour chicken was down right tough. Max used to have the best food around in myopinion, but that sure has changed I am sorry to say. Read more
