You have to make a reservation to dine in the restaurant, but it’s so worth it because The Wild Chive has The BEST vegan... breakfast / brunch in Long Beach! I usually share the crispy zucchini sticks with my partner (who said the pancakes weredelicious) and have the stuffed french toast with a Vietnamese coffee, so yum! If they’re open for lunch or dinner check thatout too. Honestly everything on the menu is good. Read more

The perfect brunch spot. The atmosphere is wonderful. With the garage door open, it feels like you’re right by the water with... the nice breeze blowing in. Forgot to take pictures of the food, it was just that delicious. My only critique is that I wishthey had more gluten free options but the cornbread waffle monte cristo was delicious, nonetheless. All staff was friendly, highly recommend making a reservation. Read more

Comfort food with a hint of Vietnamese. Cute vibe. Not greasy but definitely mouth watering comfort food. First time and we'll... definitely return to try the rest of the menu. The waffles are perfectly flavored with cornbread but still light and airy.Coffee we strong and well-balanced. - Chicken & Cornbread Waffles - Southern Breakfast Sorry about the photo. We'd alreadystarted splitting the waffles before taking the photo. Read more

Ok, I’m going to start with I am NOT a vegan and this place is phenomenal! The service was great, the workers are super nice... and food is just.. yum! Their cheese tastes like dairy cheese, I could not tell the difference. I didn’t care for the“bacon”, it had the consistency of thin jerky and the bland taste and altogether just didn’t pair well for me. However, the “BLT” sandwich was still amazing without it. I will come here every time I want to eat more green ???? next time I willhave to ask for my coffee to come out hotter, besides that my time here was nothing shy of perfection. Read more

Slowly, I am slowly being converted to being able to stomach vegan food. My friend really loved this place and convinced me to... come out with him to try it out. Little did he know this was already on my bookmark list to try. Their location is difficult tofind parking for if you do not live in the area and can walk there, but it is in a very visible corner lot. They have windows totheir kitchen, kind of like the DinTaiFung concept where you can see them preparing food if you are waiting on the outside. Theinterior is really nice and I loved the outdoor seating. The staff are all really kind and attentive as well. We shared thefried pickles; slightly a touch too salty, but pretty darn delicious with the dipping sauce. I was very impressed with theirvegan biscuit, I definitely wanted more when that was all devoured. For myself I got the banh mi. I appreciated the vegan twistthey put towards the sandwich. They kept the key ingredients and added vegan bacon and tofu patty. My friend's breakfastsandwich was everyone's favorite and I will definitely be ordering that the next time I go!. Read more

The food is so good! Like… SO GOOD! The Montecristo is legitimately the best vegan breakfast item I’ve ever had in my ten... years as a vegan. Actually, might be the best breakfast item I’ve had in forty years of life! :) I travel a lot and alwayslook to support fully vegan establishments where ever I go. I tend to try multiple places verses going back to the same placemultiple times (if possible. Many places have very limited vegan options), but I’m making an exception here. I will be back.Probably later today. Definitely tomorrow. :) The Long Beach area has many vegan options and many of them are very good, thisone just may be the best of them! 5 out of 5 Would definitely recommend Will be back. Read more
