Best breakfast place in this area. Second time coming here. Order the salsas because they go so well with any dish.
Another day, another delicious meal at a great restaurant. I've been doing to eat here since moving to Long Beach and finally... managed the time to do so!! The wait wasn't long at all and even if it was, it would be worth it!! The food was awesome and thestaff were nice. And who knew that the breakfast BAR was an actual bar... win win!! Read more
Exceptional service, super friendly community vibe.This new location for The Breakfast Bar is beautifully done. They took over... the old restaurant spot in a vintage 4th Street building that had been and Italian restaurant for decades and transformed it!They picked up the gorgeous teal color from the original tile work and carried it into the room. A nice bar, complete withchandeliers and comfy seating all around. Fairly traditional food does lean toward "bar food" & is heavy on the grease andcheese. Seems pricey for what they offer. Paying extra for bacon is not cool. Five dollars for a basic tea bag & hot water(though the menu described a high end tea brand) seemed outrageous. $4.25. for coffee is high, but in line with the risingneighborhood prices. Cool waitresses, Mo and Rebecca will keep it coming though. Breakfast food was average, though included anice Rosemary toast. Early morning special made it worth it and is also a time to enjoy the beautiful decor. Of course, if youare a day drinker, this is your place. Read more
What a great breakfast! Drinks drinks drinks! The food was fantastic even during their grand opening event. The wait wasn't too... bad and once we were seated we felt that the servers really cared about our experience. Super yummy food and efficient service, despite how busy it was! The wait was long but it was 1 pm on a Sunday, so it was... completely expected. We were greeted almost immediately after being seated by Mike, who was an excellent and kind server! Thefood was sooooo yummy! Plus the mimosas we got were filled almost to the brim, and had the perfect ratio of OJ and champagne(IMO). I will absolutely be coming back again for the service and delicious food! Read more
STELLAR EXPERIENCE! ???? A lovely place for brunch in Long Beach. We have been regulars of the Breakfast Bar on Atlantic for... years and decided to check out their new location. Let me tell you, everything was perfection! The atmosphere and ambiance ofthis spot was just AMAZING!! ???? Absolutely loved the vibe, decor, and design of this establishment. We were warmly welcomed inby the friendly staff and seated promptly. Our server was incredibly kind and helpful in explaining the menu to us. The food weordered was brought to us in a timely-manner (honestly fast considering how busy it was)! All our food dishes were superdelicious *chef?s kiss*. Very flavorful! ???? I got the waffle combo & my dad got the breakfast burrito. Both were fantastic!???? Definitely checked off all my boxes as a customer! First time here and took a friend visiting out of town. The menu was not old School typical breakfast which was great. Lots of... great items that all looked amazing. I had the french toast combo and it was super delicious. The toast was fluffy and spongy.The eggs were solid and the sausages were great too. Very clean and good service. Will definitely go back! Came here on a Monday morning with a friend for a local breakfast. The vibe and ambiance was nice, definitely an "it place" to... get breakfast. There was no wait on the Monday and we got sat right away. The staff was really nice. I ordered eggs papi,poached eggs served on sourdough with bacon, hollandaise, and a potato pancake. While I waited, I ordered a coffee, it was cold!The second cup was better, but if your looking for piping hot coffee, just don't have any (the staff was on top of keeping mycup full). My food came and the portion vs the price was small! My test for poached eggs is to see if the yoke runs when you cutinto it, one did, the other did not. Over all the flavors were good, the potato pancake, was giving me more croquette vibes, butthe flavors were good also. over all I don't think poached eggs are their strong points, my friend ordered the meatloaf, muchbigger portion, a more satisfying breakfast for sure.
