I went with a friend who has been here before. It was my first visit but certainly will not be my last. It's a small restaurant... with the feel of a Cafe. The decor is lovely. It's a warm and inviting atmosphere. The people that work there, as well as theowners, are very nice and accommodating, as I'm on a special diet. Now, to the food. I had the catfish dinner with red beans andrice, yams, and it's served with cornbread. Everything was absolutely delicious ????! The food is cooked to order so everythingwas served piping hot. The cornbread is honestly the best I've ever had. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I ordered a bowlof gumbo to go, but couldn't help but try a couple of spoonfuls. It is heavenly!! I ordered their sandwich with fries. The fries were dry & stale. The sandwich was too moist. I recommend nobody comes here. My... girlfriend order gumbo to-go, they didn?t close the lid when bagged. The gumbo partially spilled. Way too pricey for how subparthe food is. Read more
This place was nasty and it was very much so overpriced the restaurant is not kept up it's nasty they don't keep it really clean... the food was not good the macaroni and cheese was gross every dessert was extremely sweet even by the post standards or theorder take her standard she said everything is sweet and I just did not enjoy this place after spending like $75 here for fourpeople I ordered a catfish plate or fried catfish and it was just like something from Ralph's it wasn't fresh the skin was stillon it I can go on and on and on I would just advise if you're going to spend money here maybe just order one thing if you canfind that one thing on the menu other than that just avoid this place Read more
