This was my second time at Ola however it was my first time eating here. The food was cold. I had the taco of the month which... was ground beef, the blackened shrimp and carne asada. The ground beef was over cooked, burned even. The other two tasted good. The drinks were okay. In my opinion $100 was over priced for quality. The environment is nice. Read more

We went for the sunset! And the ceviche was incredible! The outdoor patio overlooks the marina and the sun sets on the water,... which is beautiful. It?s a kind of indoor-outdoor patio where it?s technically open, but there are windows protecting you (thewindows could have been cleaner) It was a fabulous sunset, and the food was good. Our favorite by far was the Acapulco ceviche. If you just come by for appetizers and drinks, get the ceviche! We got the ensalada de la casa (starter salad), the salmon agavetaco and fish taco, and the carnitas. We weren?t thrilled with the tacos- even though the salmon agave taco had Brie, which wasan interesting taste, they both somewhat lacked flavor. The carnitas were juicy and flavorful and I would definitely get themagain. One thing was that the service could have been better- the waitress seemed busy and distracted, and gave me flour insteadof corn Tortillas after I emphasized they must be corn. I didn?t find out until I already ate it. I should have warned her thereason (gluten sensitivity), but it shouldn?t have happened either way, especially with gluten intolerance so common in SoCal. Excellent ambiance and view. Good service. Appetizer was delicious. The chicken and carne asada tacos were too dry and lacked... flavor. The shrimp, fish and lobster were better but the tortilla they used were very dry and hard. A bit pricy but I guessyou're paying for the view. Read more

We arrived here on a Sunday afternoon without reservations, but we were able to be seated immediately in the front dining room... facing Marina Drive. This section is open and airy and loud, but you do have a beautiful view of the marina! If you want an airconditioned table, ask to be seated closer to the bar area. It was so much cooler in this section. Service was great with asmile! We started by sharing the Beet and Watermelon salad which was delicious! My husband ordered the Lobster/ ShrimpEnchiladas$33.00. He said it was the BEST! I had one bite and the tangy flavors of the tomatillo cream sauce is what makes thisdish outstanding! I ordered the Baja Fish Burrito which was tasty, but the flavors were a bit bland( $19). This burrito wasjammed packed with fish, cheese and a lot of white rice. I enjoyed it though! I ordered Michoacán Margarita, ( Strawberrymargarita). This was VERY refreshing and tasty! I could of ordered another, but I wanted to keep a clear head. Ola's is locatedon the rooftop level of the shopping mall, next to Anthropologie. First 90 minutes are free! Read more

After many years of wanting to try Ola, I finally made it out. I knew the prices would be a bit higher than most Mexican... restaurants but I can confidently say it?s worth the price. The margaritas are small but pack a lot of flavor. I ordered the ribeye steak fajitas and the Acapulco Ceviche and the clear winner today was the fajitas. Id give it a 11/10 I?m not exaggerating. The ceviche was ok, I had to pour the salsa from the chips to add flavor. I would recommend this place for a date night. Read more

Went here with the mom group to celebrate a birthday. Got a great table on the patio before sunset. Great views, great vibes. No... wait at 6pm on Thursday night. Of course we all order a round of yummy cocktails. I got the Punta Negra cocktail. I slurped itdown pretty fast since it had so much ice so I decided I needed to switch to beer the rest of the night. We all ordered varioustacos off their a la cart taco menu. I have had their Baja fish tacos before so I ordered 2 of them. The other girls mixed theirtaco plates to try more variety. They were all yummy and very filling. No rice & beans needed after you eat chips, salsa andguacamole. Since it was a birthday celebration we ordered the cherry dessert. Holy yum! It?s huge and perfect for the four ofus. Definitely a great location, great atmosphere, food and service. If you want to work of your dinner, they opened a rollerrink below. Read more

We went for Sunday brunch and our server was Chloe, and she was amazing and very attentive even with a full outdoor seating... area. We ordered tacos pictured below is asada and two Baja fish and all were great. Homemade tortilla was delicious and thechips and salsa was also good. We added black beans and guacamole which I would recommend doing. My girlfriend orderedbottomless mimosa and I got two bloody Mary?s and the Bloody Mary was perfectly mixed. I would recommend this place for brunchwhen the weather is great for a nice view to add to the meal ambiance. Read more
