Always read the reviews. Unfortunately, I did not. This is the worst version of soulfood we have ever eaten. The chicken was... not flavored, dry and hard. Greens taste like detergent. Never again. I ordered smothered pork chops that didn\'t have an ounce of seasoning. literally the gravy taste like water and... flour. I also ordered the garlic mashed potatoes that were watery and taste as if it were an instant potatoes pack. Money wastedwhen I don\'t have money to waste. I really wanted to like this place for starters because its black owned . The staff was nice but the macaroni i recived was not... what was in that photo. It looked and tasted like box mac . My red beans where black and very salty I could not take more thana few bites my greens where dry ( I didn\'t know that was possible. Tried this... place again and I don\'t know if they are under new management or what but this was a terrible experience. Ordered through doordash and I did not receive my whole order due to things being out. They did not advertise that they were out of the majority ofthe menu and I order a bunch of stuff. I ordered a catfish dinner that came with 2 sides and added 4 additional sides. I onlygot 2 of the sides I ordered and 1 substitute and neither of it was good. The fish was old, the rice for the red beans wereHARD, and some how the canned corn that you randomly submitted (didn\'t even ask for corn) was gross. I was never offered arefund but was told that a manager would call me later. It\'s been over a week and still no call.\n\nThis was Father\'s Day ANDJuneteenth so this should have been the ONE day of all days you\'re on it. I ordered it at least 2 hours before closing time soit was disappointing to see so many items out. It\'s not even about the refund any more it\'s about principle.\n\nI would notrecommend this place. If they do have what you\'re ordering it\'s probably going to be half decent at it\'s best. Makes me sadnot be able to support this place. Read more
