The food was so good this morning! Better than anywhere the last 2 years! Absolutely amazingly so full of flavor! And the server... was fabulous! Best brunch time! It took awhile to be acknowledged here after I walked in and sat myself at the bar. The bartender was a slender women and she... was super sweet. The wait I had may have been due to a medical emergency that someone had right out in front of the bar becauseI overheard the bartender talking about it. However, I ordered appetizers and beer and I have to say that I?m throughlyimpressed with the quality and portion size! I thought it was a tad pricey but after seeing how much food you get for the costit was 100% worth it. The fried zucchini was fried to golden brown perfection! The lettuce wraps could have been better, thechicken was super dry and the lettuce tasted dirty like it wasn?t washed properly. After I got my food it was a hit and misswith the customer service but overall I had a great experience. I?ll definitely come back again when I want some amazing barfood and drinks. The only thing I would recommend is to update the decor. This bar has so much potential and they could trulydraw in huge crowds if they did a huge makeover. The location is prime too! Melainey's is set up like a traditional Irish Pub. There are different sections and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is... great. There are several beers on tap, and they pour the Guinness like professionals. We were there for a Blues show. Thesound was great, but not too loud. The seating was laid out well. I went with my friends to enjoy beers and snacks but they given such horrible table, no music, no bar and look like staff break... room and charged bar and high restaurant. Second important things, they see your face and place a table, it sound me racistattitude. We don't have choice to select table for enjoy our outing and paid full money. Wonderful local neighborhood bar in the marina that has a really fun vibe. They have live rock bands playing on the weekends.... The best part is being able to sit outside and have dinner overlooking the marina and watching the boats sail by and the sunset.So romantic! Food and drinks are great too. Read more
