Who wants to stand in a HOT kitchen frying fish after working all day? NOT this chick! This place is legit and 2 blocks from my... house. Fried oysters? YES PLEASE, my hubby loves the fried catfish, delicious fried Red Snapper. Oh and the coleslaw is onpoint, some places its mushy, not Louisiana. I have been going to this place for years and they continue to keep the good food coming. I usually get their red snapper (which... is amazing) but I?ve been reading reviews about the jumbo shrimp and I tried those with their fish combo (I got catfish). Thejumbo shrimp is really good, cooked well, good flavor. The catfish was good as well but it wasn?t as good as the red snapper.There?s always a bit of a wait here, but it?s work it. Only downside is the parking. The lot gets full fast and the street doestoo, so good luck. Calling in the order may help with the wait if the line isn?t busy. Either way, you won?t regret the trip.
