I finally made it to Boba Guys! While exploring 2nd and PCH, I stumbled across Boba Guys. I have heard of it but had no idea it... was within this shopping plaza. So I of course needed to try it out. I went with my usual, Thai Tea with Boba. The gentleman wassuper nice, he even complimented me on my shades. While waiting I took a gander at their outdoor seating area and I really likedthe aesthetic they had going on. My drink was ready within minutes and I took my first sip. I have to be honest, I was expectinga ?yum? moment. But instead, it was more of an ?eh? moment for me. Don't get me wrong, it was good but not great. The bobahowever was ?yum?! It tasted super fresh and soft. I appreciate the overall mission of Boba Guys. The owners Andrew and Binwant to ?fundamentally change the way people view boba, tea, and perhaps food?. OK, so Boba guys is my absolute favorite bubble tea from New York City, until they closed all the shops there. So I was quite... delighted to come and see so many Boba guys in California. However, I was really sad to find out that they have discontinuedgrass jelly as a topping in their drinks, and having driven all the way to Long Beach today, I was doubly disappointed, to findout they also ran out of almond jelly. While the Matcha latte and the bubble is still good, my favorite was the bubble, plusgrass jelly, plus jelly, and that is simply no longer available. Totally get it, supply chain issues, staffing issues, but thatplus the raised price where a cup of bubble tea is now eight dollars before tip, I?m starting to think I might need to seekother shops sadly. The best boba place in town! The boba balls are the perfect chewiness! My favorite drinks are the strawberry matcha and... hojicha. My family loves their jasmine milk tea and the strawberry milk. This place is awesome, Definitely on my top 2 boba places in Long Beach, Beverage wise: I've tried the strawberry matcha, the... banana drink they have a long with their strawberry jasmine and it is all very very good. Specially the strawberryjasmine. Pricing is standard to any boba place. I think the large runs up to like $7. The staff is super friendly. No complaintsthere. I ordered something I ended up not being able to drink and they exchanged it for free without any faces or hesitation andeven though i offered to pay again. In regards to parking:: there are 2 huge lots. 1 of which gives u 90 minutes for free nearwhole foods so you should always find parking even if it's a busy day. Would I return? Yes I already have. Located inside the 2nd & PCH mall, my fav boba is the HK style milk tea. I also tried their Rose milk tea and it was also... amazing. They have lots of seating. Nice service and friendly staffs. Read more
Wasn?t a huge fan of the drinks that I got. The espresso milk tea with regular milk is good, but the almond milk version isn?t... great. The boba itself was good; drinks are less sweet than most places. I feel that it was overpriced. Read more
I had the Hojicha milk tea with oat milk. So delicious! And love that they use biodegradable straws. Only rating 4 stars as the... boba was undercooked. Other than that love the mission of Boba Guys and teas! My spouse got a Black sesame latte and the flavorwas just like a Sesame Tang Yuan! Perfect flavor. Read more
