Not at all the food is bad here. The salsa is pretty good the rice is great. However I will never understand why a Mexican... restaurant uses American cheese? Terrible waiting while our waitress disappeared for 15-20 min at a time. They have sign on table asking to limit your time to... 1:15. But we waited 20 min for waitress to return with check. Read more
Food is always good. Service terrible as always. Make sure you ask the waitstaff for all your needs before your meal comes/when... you order, as they never back come to check on you. If you have an issue with your meal, you won't see your sever until itcomes time for the check to be dropped The gentlemen that's been the one delivering the food for years is always the mostfriendly one. Pay only Cash. In maybe 6 visits in 2 years we have had 3 credit/debit cards compromised....we usually use only touch less... payments or chip payments at other locations, so physically handing a card to a person has become pretty rare....here theservers will still take you card, go in the back, come back. About a week later you will have several online charges forthings.... Food was ok...adequate, but definitely not like it once was....it's certainly gone downhill IMHO in the last 2-3years. Where once it was packed, the dining room has been reconfigured with few tables and no wait.... Honestly think peoplehave figured it out. We stopped in for lunch while passing through the area. We stopped in shortly before the evening rush but everything was... perfect. The staff were so kind and were punctual. We ordered light as we were in the middle of a day adventure but we werestill able to bring my daughter's leftovers To-go. I've always been a big fan of La Carreta and this was my first time at thislocation. Definitely recommend and I will be back next time I am in the area. Read more

Great food, great tacos, nice queso fundido. Excellent take out. Nice, helpful staff.
So much so close. Great food as well as drinks. Try it out it's a good time.
