I recently ordered catering from True Taco for my boyfriend's graduation party. All I can say is WOW. The service was amazing,... Jo was very communicative and gave me great suggestions for the party. They delivered the food exactly on time and packedbeautifully. Everyone at the party kept saying how good it was and asked repeatedly where I got it from, the quesadillas andTaquitos were a hit! The tacos were gone almost instantly and the nachos were amazing (and a huge portion!). Everyone loved thepupusas as well, and the slaw that came with it was so good! We were eating that slaw with forks by itself! I had so manycompliments on the food and would definitely order again. My only regret: I should have ordered more! Thanks Jo and team!!! Read more
We had breakfast burrito and al apstor (pork&pineapple) taco. Both tasted great and fresh. I especially liked their hot sauce.
Their flour-chicken queasadilla is my favorite thing to get when I visit Western Fair Market on the weekend! Very generous... cheese and their spicy salsa is the best! The seller is also very considerate, that one time I was going to order menu thatusing chicken that stored at the same container with pork, and she warned me about that, seeing me wearing a hijab. The food is nothing short of amazing. Flavourful, fresh, cooked perfectly. I was so sad when the restaurant on Dundas closed... down, and was relieved to learn that they have a location at the Western Fair Market. I took one star off because it was reallydisheartening seeing the owner speak in a rude tone of voice to her staff when I was waiting at the counter for my food.Hopefully the owner sees this and takes it into consideration. I find myself hankering for tamal every now and then and I?m glad to have found a new go-to place to sate my inevitable next... craving. I tried the pupusas too and found that they were delicious! My favourite was the jalapeño and cheese one. Read more
What an amazing find! I love this food and had an opportunity to try a tamale. Staff mentioned that this was not a gluten free... facility, although indicated that the Tamale was safe to eat if you were celiac! Delicious tacos. I tried the Barbacosa taco (shredded beef), Al pastor taco (pork and pineapple), Chorizo (Mexican sausage) and... a corn quesadilla - the Barbacosa was the best. I like their mild sauce. it's a bit of a wait since its busy but the food isgood! Read more
