I?ve attended this restaurant for years and they have always exceeded my expectations. I find both their food and service... phenomenal, every time. The last time I attended I sat at the bar with two of my girlfriends and shared apps and drinks, justfor something a little different. We were served by two bartenders and the service was absolutely exceptional. We let themchoose our apps to split amongst us (which were all divine), and we tried different cocktails based on their recommendations. Wehad the best time, I won?t forget it! This little gem in the heart of the city is one of my favourite places. They hit all The marks service, food and atmosphere. You... can stop for a full sit down meal, or grab a couple drinks and snack on a wide variety apps, or like we did last night used itas a pre stop for our dinner reso. Second time to dine in here, have to say the artichoke dip didn?t have the sizzling entrance as the first time but the taste was... still the same. Very creamy and honestly, we made sure the bowl was clean. My partner and I got the beef tenderloin and the halfrack of lamb. Divine dishes! On our day trip to London Ontario, looking for a place for lunch., we decided to chose a restaurant on Richmond Street. However,... the place was closed on a Tuesday afternoon. We decided to choose another place in the area and came upon The Tasting Room. Wementioned to our server that we were just looking for some snacks ?. since we were not that hungry yet. And he made us feel socomfortable and not pressure to order more!! We start off with The Aperol Gin Sour to go along with a few apps. It was veryrefreshing and not too sweet which is just how I like it!! Since there was two of us? thought we would order a few apps, weordered Kangs Fiery Pork on($18) which is marinated in a spicy sauce .. really not all that spicy for me but it was delicious.It?s all also served with a sesame cilantro Spaetzel (a German type pasta) which was a great compliment. We also ordered theTruffle fries ($6) ? such a good deal. I enjoyed it so much? the fries were served piping hot with a nice fragrant truffle and topped with Pecorino Cheese. Only thing, the fries were served in a metal cone shaped container, so the fries at the top hadall the pecorino cheese but when we hit the fries in the middle, it was just plain. I asked if they could give more cheese forthe fries in the middle. Amazing?. they surprised me with a new batch of fresh hot fries with lots of cheese. And the servercame with an extra dish of shaved pecorino. Such a nice touch ?.thanks so much! Great service here! We really enjoyed ourserver who was working by himself but was attentive and so pleasant. If you are visiting London, I recommend you visit TheTasting Room. Fine, fresh ingredients. Cooked to order and to request. Wine tasting is wonderful with various options. Apps are full of... flavour and seasoning. Main course again full of flavour, seasoning and plated with perfection and care. Prices are fair forwhat you are getting in a night out! Highly recommend Tasting Room to anyone.
