Terrible service. About ten people were standing inside the door waiting to go inside, for close to ten minutes no host or... hostess. Owner walked by did nothing. We went in grabbed a table at the entrance iThe bartender tonite refused to make usMargaritas. She said beers only. She wasn?t busy she was walking around behind the bar then finally came to my husband. ? butsaid no they were too busy! So we left, won?t go back. We celebrated my birthday at the Squire last night and had a blast! The food and service was amazing (best nachos in town). I... can?t forget to mention how much fun my family and friends had dancing to the live music courtesy of Lonny Chicago. I went to The Squire for dinner with my mom, I?ve heard good things about the dill pickle chicken wings and just had to try them... for myself. We ordered 2 burgers on gluten free buns and a pound of chicken wings, the food was amazing! Not to mention, thestaff were all super friendly and easy to talk to. I 100% suggest stopping by The Squire if you?re looking for somewhere to eator just to have some drinks. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere :D Read more

As bad as it can get. I ordered the Fish & Chips and got a thing that looked like it had been battered in a cornflakes... concoction with absolutely no flavour - there was no seasoning much less the flavour of fish. It was a tasteless, flat andunappetizing thing. Made from scratch this was not as it was made so fast something about it had to have been precooked. TheCaesar salad which accompanied it and was an "upgrade" to the fries was wilted and yellowed so badly that it should have beentossed out rather than tossed and offered to a paying customer. The lemon wedge that came with it was an insult as it was nota wedge but more of a cube of lemon - essentially a chunk from a wedge about half an inch by half an inch in dimension (stingybeyond belief and a red light that this establishment is concerned about cutting corners at the expense of customer satisfactionand experience). The lemon cube was the only fresh thing about the entire plate. It was very clear that the food in thisestablishment is not about providing a delicious meal but about meeting the minimum requirement needed to be able to sell beerand liquor. Do not come here to eat because you will be disappointed. The Stella I ordered had turned and I sent it promptlyback in exchange for a dark ale which was only marginally better. I know good beer when I drink it and this was not it. Theservice was friendly but inattentive. I was only asked how the food was when it was clear I had finished eating because I movedthe plate aside and placed my napkin on top. Perhaps the waiters and waitresses knew something about the food I did not andexplains why they did not inquire about it in a timely manner. Overall this place seems to be one more in a long line of badrestaurants in London one should avoid. Cozy, chic place. Great location for a bite before an event or evening downtown. Their bourbon cocktail is my new favourite! Ate... the fish tacos which were so yummy. Server was friendly and the whole staff seemed to work as a team. Definitely would return. Read more
Ordered beef taco, chicken finger and fish in chips. Nothing spectacular just average foods. Also found a small rock in the... chicken finger which was super weird. The server was nice and friendly. Just a good place to hang out with friends and have adrink. Read more
We attend The Squire frequently, especially when attending an event downtown. Always great food and service. Decided to try... their catering service this past weekend for a private event at our own house and it did not disappoint. Food arrived very warmand was just as good as eating in.
