My friend ordered food for me today. I support local and do not want to be too harsh in this lockdown situation but the pizza... was overcooked with the burnt bottom. It was inedible. I have always loved lobster rolls here; still tasty but the amount getssmaller (you can compare two photos I?ve added: before & now). It?s disappointing and not what we expected from the river room. I never write reviews, however I feel like this is one of those times when I need to express sincere gratitude, appreciation and... love. During this time of social distancing our original Mother's Day plans had to be changed. A day of the year that our wholefamily looks forward to. Making the best of it, we all decided to order from River Room and eat over our Zoom call, what greatfun we had. A family separated by circumstances enjoyed the best meal they have had in a very long time. And finally the 3 momsgot a break from cooking nonstop for the past 2 months. The conversation centred on the food, and how delicious it was;perfectly cooked prime rib, spinach salad, lemon curd tart, another had the chicken cordon with the carrot cake. Everyone haddifferent combinations which we were all raving about and wishing we could try what the others had. Luckily for my sister, noone was able to steal her dessert. We will definitely take this celebration back to the River Room when we are able to betogether again. Thank you for delivering the best Mother?s Day meal I?ve had. The Roast Beef was delicious, of the highest quality, and a most... generous portion. I ordered Mother's Day brunch for my parents to be delivered. The process to order online was easy, the menu was perfect and... the delivery was on time and well handled in this time of social distancing. We recently ordered take out dinners for Mother's Day - stuffed chicken and prime rib. Both were absolutely delicious! The meal... included buns, spinach salad, generous entree, and dessert (we got flourless chocolate cake). After months of eating at home,this was a wonderful treat.
