My personal favourite shawarma shop in London
Used to be my fav spot when I worked downtown but haven't been in 6 years, until today. It just isn't great and soooo different... than it used to be. No spices in the rice, the cabbage is just like shredded... pickles are massive chunks and not flavourful...sauces are meh. Meat was okay and it was grilled well... but just missing a lot of the old flavour. I'd really give this a 2.5stars as it was just so mediocre. Made me sad lol. The Schwarmas don't taste the same as they used to 13 years ago up to 4 years ago. The chicken is either dry and over cooked to... hard and tasteless cold from sitting there from being precut or it is served undercooked and taste less. What a huge flop fromwhat they were before. I had been a customer for 13 years until today after the pandemic. They also keep getting new staff.The restaurant is obsolutely disgusting. Pictures to posted to show. If the restaurant is this nasty for customers to seeimagine how nasty it may be at the back. Even the top of the seats are full of dust. Never cleaned. Nasty hands all over thetemperature monitor. Also noticed where they cook the chicken I saw very visible cobwebs from inside where they cook. Thisplace has hygiene problems and it has started to show after the pandemic. Nasty! It is my first time and I loved this place. I got a very big portion for my order so i could not finish it all but all were very... yummy. Staffs were very nice and friendly as well. But .. it was not too clean that I felt the table was little sticky. Anywayi would like to go there again to try beef as I had chicken this time :) Read more
