Love this place normally. This time my chicken sandwich tasted like the oil needed to be changed and was a little over cooked.... Asked for light sauce that was good, got medium it had a nice bite to it and it was very cheesy. My husband got the meatballsandwich, it was a mess, couldn't eat it like a sandwich had to use a fork. He asked for hot and said it was good nice and spicythe way he likes it. Overall was ok, but we felt like we were bothering the front of store staff. Read more
Just got 3 sandwiches (50$ total) all 3 were piled with breading and not even meat. Was like eating baby puke. 50$ down the... drain and 3 unhappy customers. I waited 40 min for a meatball sandwich & mozzarella sticks. Do not go in on a lunch break or you will be late. Food handling... after touch cash and never changing gloves or washing hands. Meatballs were dry. Paid $14 and threw out half of it. Mozzarellasticks were overcooked and most had no cheese in them. Too much money. Read more
Customer service was horrid. Took my order and never informed me when it was ready. I was sitting right in front of the cash... register waiting for 30 minutes so she could see me there the whole time while others who ordered after me were receiving theirorders before me. (I ordered a veal sandwich, and watched two go out before me to people who ordered after me.) I asked herabout what the hold up could be and she told me she had called my sandwich out a while ago...even though I was sitting directlyin front of her waiting and never heard this. Would never go back based off that experience. Shame. But the lady working speaksvery quietly and fast. Best Italian Sandwiches in London ???? If there is better, where?? I?ve been meaning to check out Mama?s Hot Italian Sandwiches... for a while now and finally did. What I ordered: Chicken Sandwich w/ The Works What I liked: Everything ? Honestly nocomplaints the sandwich is ????????????????. Here are some other things I liked : Service ? - the lady that served me wasincredibly hospitable, attentive and you could tell by just speaking with her that she takes pride in their work. Fresh? - madeto order, need I say more. Bread, sauce, cutlet - all ???? notch. Value ? $10 for a quality sandwich like this, incrediblevalue. I have heard quite a bit about the sandwiches here, and finally stopped in. Now, unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed in... myself in not going sooner to enjoy this deliciousness. I ordered the meatball sandwich loaded up with medium spice. The spicelevel is perfect for me - my coworker ordered the meatball but hot spice and it is very spicy. It's about $14 to get it loaded,but worth it in my opinion. The sandwich itself is massive and almost can't be eaten all in one shot, but I'm going to continueeating this thing as it is awesome. Just wasted $45. Haven't been in yrs. WILL NOT GO BACK unless Dino & Eugene come back! Service awful, cleanliness disgusting,... the cook/only worker had dirty finger nails, did not wear a hair net! I asked for a catering menu (had a dinner party cateredyears ago when Dino & Eugene ran the place it was amazing) - whew, dodged a bullet that she couldn't find all but one rippedsticky page! Ordered pasta with Alfredo, water not drained enough, so watery that it spilled out the container all over my car(didn't notice at 1st because it was dark out) but the drips all up my stairs and floor with the container having leaked thruthe bag got my attention, it was tasteless. The meatball sandwich- just as another customer reported - a hot mess, bun so soggyyou couldn't pick it up, tried to just eat the meatballs - also tasteless, sauce has changed to and although I realize it'ssubjective, I didn't like it, was MUCH better before. The veal sandwich- took one bite (of just the veal again, the bun toosoggy to even pick up) it was crunchy!! Completely over cooked and it was not fresh at all. I threw out all of it!! Made agrilled cheese - delicious. Save your money and time. You'd be better off going to the Tim Hortons and grab a sandwich. Read more
