Had never been to this location (Cherry Hill Mall) before but decided to try it out? Probably was the worst meal I?ve had at a... restaurant in decades. Website says it closes at 7pm came in around 540pm and was told it was takeout only and that they had norice or potatoes left just fries and that they weren?t serving tables. Decided to do a take out order and eat at the tables inthe mall hallway. Chicken was undercooked and was pink and bloody by the bones and tough to chew. Buns were hard and old. Andcustard tarts were soggy! Went into complain to guy at counter he said that that was just a vein we were seeing in the chickenand offered a refund for the chicken. Picked around the pieces a little more and try to eat but it was gross. went back in tocomplain with another piece of chicken that had blood in it to take him up on his offer for refund, when he said we had alreadyeaten half the chicken, Refused the refund and said to take it up with his boss. Hi ate half of a piece of chicken and myhusband a one piece of chicken most of the chicken was still in the container lol Terrible food, terrible service guy couldn?twait to get out of there close up shop. Will never eat there again and we?ll tell everybody we know about our negativeexperience! Read more
So disappointed in King of Pigs today. We went there on our very rare lunch break today. We had a limited amount of time (about... an hour). We ordered right away. They left us sitting there for about half an hour before we inquired about our food. Thewaitress told us the computer did not input the order. She then put the order through and told us it would be about 5 minuteslater. Ten minutes later, she brought our food to go. The fries and buns were burnt. She offered an apology but by this time,our lunch plans were in ruin and people in my party were upset. No offer of a discount for our troubles or anything of the sort.So very very disappointing. It's a lovely little hole-in-the-wall. The food is deliciously prepared and the service is kind. The dishes all have a wonderful... Portugese twist to the flavour. Despite its small space, there's still a feeling of comfort when dining in. Only notable issueis that there's no in-house bathroom, so you must use Cherryhill Mall's public bathroom. Read more
I had such a horrible experience with this restaurant especially since I was visiting London and it was one of the few times I... was eating out. I had heard good things about their menu but was shocked to be served burnt chicken. And by burnt, I mean that Iwas served a black chicken quarter. The chicken was also dry and bland, not surprising. A complete disgrace to a barbequerestaurant that can't even cook chicken properly. When I told the server, the chicken was burnt, she offered a discount butrefused to let me take the rest as takeout, even though I had sides. The chicken would have been tossed anyway and I was justtrying not to waste food. What a waste of money, food and time. Read more
Server was friendly food sooo dispointing the chicken appeared to be cooked in microwave white with a little sauce splashed on... fries were sad. best part was the breaded dill pickels and the free bread. if u want chicken your better off going and grabbinga cosco roasted chicken for 8 bucks better flavor and better price In fact cosco fries are better too same meal but for 14 bucksapposed to 50 this was the hamilton rd location Read more
Always, always great food! I have the half chicken with fries for lunch and really it was a portion large enough for dinner. ... The chicken came with their own mild barbecue sauce which is very good.. I added their hot version (which really isn't too hot)and it was just excellent. The fries were crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. Great service .. it was quick andit was very friendly! Definitely recommend this and definitely going back! Read more
First off, thanks to some of the ladies from Middlesex Terrace Long Term care home for recommending this place. We tried King... of the Pigs for the first time on Sunday Aug 29, 2021. We ordered A "Meal for 2" that consisted of chicken, ribs, fries , saladand 2 custard tarts. I also bought a bottle of their own hot sauce. The food was AMAZING. The chicken was cooked toperfection, very tender, just the right amount of spice. VERY good flavor. The ribs were equally as delicious. Not too muchsauce, not too much rub, just the right amount of everything. The ribs have a fantastic smokey flavor to them. I forgot to askif they sell their Rib sauce but I'll probably follow up this week some time to find out. The fries were decent. Nothing toospecial about them but they're more of a side dish anyway and not meant to be the star of the dish. HELPFUL INFO: weoriginally called, hoping to get our food delivered but they only have a set number of delivery slots so the girl on the phonerecommended trying to place the order a day before. Not a big deal though we went and picked it up. I had meant to take somepictures of our meal for the review but .... well the food didn't last long once the containers were opened. Best Chicken in London hands down. I have been going to Kings for about 15 years now. They give you free bread and olives while... waiting for your meal. I go to the Cherryhill Mall location as its closer for me. It's a calm mellow environment, no music ortv's. Good place to take a date. Rice and French fries are awesome. Obviously the sauce is the key to their success, you can buytheir sauce as well. Always a treat when I can go eat here. Read more
