I?ve been to this restaurant a couple of times now. I used to come home and tell my husband and friends how amazing this place... is. And yesterday was finally time to bring my husband to try it! Great little spot. Tasty food and friendly customer service, Ivano the owner/chef came out to greet us. I was unsure if one... order of tacos was going to be suffice but much to my surprise the tacos were actually bigger than shown in the picture :) To betraditional Mexican tacos a few things were lacking ; the lime on the side the vegetables like tomato and onion that add thecolour and extra flavour. Our new favorite place to eat! I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much. Every single thing we ate was clearly... made with love and passion. The ingredients were chosen for their freshness, regardless of cost. The chef/owners were sogracious, warm, thoughtful and honestly restored our faith in humanity after a long 2 years of hibernating during covid. Theagua fresca with tequila was possibly the best thing we've ever drank. We both had the 3 different vegan tacos and can'thonestly choose a favorite. The bread pudding of the day (carrot, pineapple and chocolate) was delicious, satisfying and somehowleft us feeling light and energetic. We're vegan but really respected the thoughtfulness of including the ethically-sourcedlocal meat the menu includes. You won't find refined or processed foods here. The décor is fantastic too. From the tremendousamount of natural light that pours into the kitchen (who wouldn't cook with love when basking in the sunlight?), to the clevercentury old glass table partitions they created, to the stylish mosaic tile walls, the restaurant has great energy andcharacter. Amazing food! Great service. We were 30 minutes late to pick up our order and the chef made sure to heat it up on the grill... again to make sure it was crispy. Tacos and Torvitano had the perfect amount of umami from the mushrooms. Highly recommend theplace. Read more
I'm in LOVE ???? I can't recommend this place enough! Came in for brunch and tried four of their menu items. Ivano egg scramble... with ratatouille, chilaquiles, chicken corn taco quesadillas, and French toast. All were beyond amazing. You will understandthat with your first bite. It tastes home-y and fresh. Leaves you feeling like you're at home having homemade soul food. Theatmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, the background music compliments the whole vibe so well. The owners are sofriendly and shows genuine care. All these adding to your experience at this restaurant. Every component of the dishes weretasty. Many dishes come with cute heart shaped winter melons ???? which is such a lovely touch to the presentation andexperience. I would recommend anyone to try any dish from here, but if I had to choose one, I would highly recommend the Frenchtoast. It's a life-changing French toast. This place was recommended through a family member as they serve 100% organic food and the best part is, they list all the... ingredients. We had a great time here as owners are super welcoming. Being our first time, they explained their menu reallygood. We would definitely come back as food here is guilt free and healthy. I must say it is a hidden gem in London. Read more
