The food was spectacular - quite literally the definition of “lick the plate clean” (thankfully, I used my knife and fork).... We split the fried chicken to start then I had the duck and my girlfriend had the perch. All three dishes were presentedbeautifully, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. I would also say the prices were completely reasonable for what we received -the care and quality put into the food at Ironwood was exceptional.\nI am only giving four stars rather than five because I feltthat the dining experience itself could have been a bit better facilitated. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was super nice andattentive, and they were clearly trying their best. I just felt that the service overall could have been a little moreknowledgeable about the menu and drinks. I hazard to use the word professional but I think there could have been more offered tous in terms of explaining the menus and offering suggestions, etc. Our table was also all alone in the back next to some peoplesetting up their instruments.\nI think that once all the systems tighten up at Ironwood, it has the potential to be a top 5restaurant in the city. Kicked off the long weekend trying out some delicious menu items! They have small plates, large plates, delicious drinks and... can\'t forget about dessert. I have seriously never eaten at a better restaurant, no complaints, the food was so good, beautifully cooked, plated and served.... Even things that I thought I wouldn\'t like were to die for, they do an amazing job for all accommodations and the staff wereall so friendly. Thank you to all the chefs and all the servers! Had a wonderful experience! Food quality was above par.....so yummy!! Love that they have a nice selection of gluten free dishes... as well. My hubby has Celiac and once we told the server they told the kitchen and everyone was extra careful about crosscontamination so that my husband did not get sick.
