Usually I enjoy making homemade cakes for birthdays but my boyfriend really likes ice cream cakes so I decided to spoil him this... year with a cake from Dairy Queen. BIG MISTAKE. I called 4 days in advance to make sure they'd have the cake ready in time formy boyfriends birthday party and was assured that the cake would be ready in time. We'll they didnt. Apparently the girl I spoketo on the phone forgot to relay the message so no one knew there was an order. Then they don't have a cake specialist during theweekends so I wouldn't be able to get my customized cake until Monday because that's when the cake specialist is in. So I wentback today(Monday) to see if they had my order ready, well the cake specialist was not only beyond rude but she told me therewas no way she could do my cake because the photo was from a show and it would be copyright. Why wouldn't they have told me thatwhen I made the order or when I went in the first time to grab my order. Though I was frustrated I remained calm and nice evenwhen the cake specialist was being down right rude. I also ended up having to buy 2 cakes in the end because i couldnt just nothave a cake for his birthday party. I will not be going back and will be sticking to homemade cakes from now on. It was great experience fast and quick drive-thru and it was tasty treats as always. The price at this place is really starting... to jump but at least it was fresh good various products. Read more

On Friday (Dec 3, 2021) I got a wisdom tooth removed, and I was most definitely still feeling the anesthesia and pain meds. I... thought ?I really want a DQ ice cream cake right now?, so I ordered one through SkipTheDishes. Looking back at the instructions,I wrote ?make it a colourful rainbow mess?.
