This is the closest Dairy Queen to me and every time i go there the employees are either down right rude or have no customer... service skills. My last visit the employee didn't greet me or even acknowledge me. I figured she was busy so i waited until shefinished what she was doing thinking should would communicate when she was finished but nope she did not. When i apparently tookto long to order did she make eye contact with me did i know i could order. She still didn't say anything until after i orderedwhich was my order total. Read more

Going in to order anything is becoming challenging. Food delivery services slow down walk in orders. Add in possible staffing... shortages and it can test your patience. Skor blizzards last 2 times ordered here weren't fully mixed, leaving plain ice creamin spots.....also, don't seem to be putting chocolate/fudge in them lately?? If I could give zero stars, I would have done that. Prior to attending the Dairy Queen in Hyde Park, I reviewed the menu so I... knew what to order when I reached the counter. I ordered the funnel cake a la mode and was told by the staff member that theydidn?t have it. When it was pointed out to her that it is listed on the website for this location, she said she had never heardof it - so I left without purchasing anything. Worst Dairy queen ever! Had an issue with my order as i had ordered extra toppings on my blizzard. Got home and they didn't put... the extra toppings I asked for and I paid extra for them. When I called to tell them the girl said sorry about that and didn'toffer to make it right. I have called numerous times to speak with the manager who hasn't still bothered to call me back allthey say is that she isn't in. Customer service is key to a successful business. Did not disappoint! The smarties and Oreo blizzards were excellent here like they are at most dairy queens. Appreciated the... early morning opening time as it was a challenge to find an ice cream shop that was open on a Sunday morning. Busy despite thetime, the mall itself looked to be well worth a trip (even though we did not have time this trip). Nothing special butcomfortable. Glad it was there. Read more
