Hole in the wall Trini/Jamaican restaurant that only does takeout. The service is very fast and the order was ready within 10... minutes. Food was great, got the Jerk Chicken meal which comes with coleslaw. Not the best I?ve had but still pretty good.Doubles were very small for $4 and had barely any filling. Patty was also standard. First time and last time. The chicken had no flavour. The steamed veggies was salty. This was not jerk chicken it taste like it... was put on the grill just to get the ?smoked? effect. Read more
This restaurant is by far the best curry chicken dinner that I have tried in London On since moving here in June 2022. The... quantity of food is fantastic! My compliments to the Chef, the food was magnificient! I recommend this to anyone who wantsantioxidents to fight off sickness because curry had that ability.???? Read more
I love this place :) I get the jerk chicken with plain rice and coleslaw and it has never failed me, and is always so tender and... has a perfectly balanced coleslaw. If you?re coming from afar I?d definitely try this place out as it?s one of the best mealsI?ve had while living in london. I have tried the vegetable and mild patty and they?re great too (they remind me of a packagedpatty but that?s what I grew up on so I enjoyed it). I got plantains on my last jerk chicken combo and the flavour reminded meof roasted marshmallows I feel it would be great if you got a spicy sauce additive but since I get plain jerk chicken theplantains were a little too sweet for my taste. I love their curry goat! I?ve ordered it twice now and both times it was great. I also purchased a bottle of their homemade hot... sauce which is so tasty as well. I would highly recommend this place. I went in there around late dinner hour and the counterwas just lined up with take out orders which just goes to show how popular the place is. Absolutely incredible , everything. So flavorful, the jerk chicken is the most moist and juicy tender chicken I've ever tasted,... tons of flavor. The Patty's are amazing, the doubles are tasty, the oxtail is to die for, plantain is perfect. seriously thebest carribean food I've had in London so far. Highly recommended ???? Read more
I only have the ?Doubles? photo here. But this one hit the spot! Good amount of spices and mango chutney. Would love to see more... shredded cucumber and a little more salt. Also tried their goat stew -could use a little more flavor but acceptable. Also theirprices are within range and portions are huge. Coming back? Yup! Read more
I?m Caribbean and I must say it is by far the worst curry and roti/busup shot! I?m extremely disappointed in the taste the... colour and everything about it! I can?t believe they?re serving this to the public in recognition of the culture and flavourthat we represent in the Caribbeans. I would prefer to actually drive all the way to toronto than to ever order from this placeever again! I promise you this is not how we cook nor how we spice our food we have much more flavour and please don?t everserve that so called jerk chicken to no one. I?m in shock. Read more
