I'm not the one to complain but I just left this place and ordered Carne Asada fries do not order them I only took two bites and... didn't not feel like eating the rest because the meat was chewy like rubber and the whole center of the fries were soundercooked majority of this was not edible was honestly scared if I continued eating it I might get sick. Can't say enough about this place. Right when I think they can't out do one of my favorite dishes they come out swinging and man... they do a great job. Felt like getting a surf & turf today and man oh man I don't even think I'll be able to finish this beast.Hats off to the young guys working there. Alberto's menu's vary at different locations. The location here is the best hole in the corner in my opinion. I ordered #7 dual... burrito, rice bean and cheese one beef one chicken plate, for the family which was more than expected portion size. JUST WOW!Taste was spectacular per a Latin home cooking kind of family. Today's trip was plate #7 Dual burrito, #13 Fish taco plate, #?Chile Verde plate and carne asada burrito, 3 Jaimica (Hibiscus tea ) drinks that are included with your plate order combo.Beans rice had great flavors with home cooked tastes. The meats where non salty flavored just right amount of salt. We showed uparound 6pmish with mixed ethnicities ordering from this location. Wait time to order 4 minutes tops. Food ready time 8-10minutes indoor outdoor dining available. Togo options and curbside pickup available. Overall great experience both trips withinthe month. BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER option available. Next trip is there Shrimp Burrito. Maybe breakfast one day and the nextthe shrimp. Returning customer for sure. Im giving 1 star because the 1, and only 1 employee was polite. Well, they are consistent thats for sure. Consistently bad at 3... of their locations. Shame on me. This one was the worst. Carne asada dry and had zero flavor. The burrito literally split downthe middle and into the bag, but thats ok as i had no intention on finishing..Not good at this location, La Habra location orwhittier location. How people tolerate bad food is beyond me. #trash Read more

I had the worst experience ever at a Mexican restaurant at this place, The cashier had a very poor attitude from the get go, and... as I was waiting for my food I overheard another customer complaining about her food being cold, I then received mine and alsonoticed the beans and rice were cold to the touch. As I stated this to the cashier the cook came from the back literally yellingat the lady who had complained about her food and saying it wasn't cold, he then took my food and brought it back 3 minuteslater, to my surprise I could tell all the cook had done was put the styrofoam container on the microwave, with my guacamoleand tomato sauce in it, as you can obviously see on the picture this was evident because the container had lost it's shape andmelted in some areas, I then proceeded to ask the cashier if I could please have my money back, but she refused and told me ifwas their policy not to refund any money and she gave me the owner's business card, she said: "This is not my store, it's not myfuc#ing problem, if you want your money call him"...I then called the owner and explained to him our situation(mine and theother 2 ladies whom I had never met). The owner repeated the same statement as his cashier, but said he would call her. Thecashier and the cook then went to the back and I could overhear them insulting me and the other customers, I then noticed thatthe same owner owns the store right next to it, so I figured maybe he was there; before I walked to the other store I sent theowner pictures of the condition of our food and explained to him that the fact they heated my food on the microwave in thestyrofoam container it was probably a health code violation, not just obviously bad for the taste of my guacamole and otherfresh vegetables. After I went and asked for the owner at the other store, he had the cashier from the other store come back andreimburse us the money.
