I am originally from Texas and have to say that I am impressed with this place. Moving to UT from the south I wasn?t sure what... to expect as far as Mexican food goes. This place rocks! So good. We love eating at El Toro Viego! Their salsas are yummy but the portions are huge!
Great experience! We had a party of 20 and they were able to accommodate us all (all but 4 at one big table). The food was... delicious and reasonably priced. I had the Loco Burrito and it did not disappoint. Tons of flavor and just enough zing to makeyou want more. Read more
El Toro has a great atmosphere inside: bright colors with hand painted chairs. And their chips and both a red and green salsa... were excellent (fresh, crispy chips and tasty salsa can make or break a Mexican food experience for me). I ordered the fajitaburrito and it was delicious, and larger than expected. My companions ordered other dishes and all were good and large portions.Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. The only thing that disappointed me was the salsa, it was gross. I love going to Mexican restaurants that serve good salsa.... There was something off, it tasted like spicy pizza sauce. My food was amazing! I got the chicken fajitas. My sister wasdisappointed with what she ordered, she was disappointed with the texture and flavor. The server was very kind and very helpful!The restaurant altogether looked clean and felt good to be in, but it was kinda loud. Read more
