What is up?! My favorite sweet pork is no longer sweet! The past 2 times I’ve been in, the pork was so salty and savory,... instead of sweet, that I wondered if I was eating beef! This location has sadly gone downhill over the last year, and it makesme so sad, as Cafe Rio food is one of my faves. The last two to three times I've been there I've ordered my usual sweet pork burrito but it has not been good! Tonight and last... time the sweet pork was anything but shredded. Just random huge chunks of meat. The flavor both times was way off and did nottaste like sweet pork - especially last time I thought maybe they put the wrong meat in, but tonight it was the same as lasttime. And each time the last three times the beans, rice, and meat in the burrito have not been evenly distributed. I've had toopen up the burrito and mix everything together. Tonight I had a big bite that was nothing but rice and no other flavor. Notgood. Tonight I ordered it smothered and there was nothing on top - just a pile of sauce and cheese to the side. I'm so sadbecause I would eat there all the time and loved the rewards program. But after tonight I'm done. This is just gross now. ???? Read more
Absolutely filthy. The girl that served our food rang us up with gloved hands, grabbed a bottle of cleaner to put under the... shelf and went right back to prep the food line without ever changing gloves. We ate at 11 in the morning, well before a lunchrush (we were the only ones in the restaurant) and there was food all over tables, chairs and the floors. Seems neither thenight shift from before or the morning shift thought to sweep or wipe down tables. I planned to use the bathroom before leavingand decided against it. I spared pictures of the actual toilets. I emailed corporate with no response after a week so a googlereview it is. Read more
Is it just us or is Cafe Rio struggling lately? The last 4 times we’ve been the sweet pork has been off and different each... time. Tonight it was very dry, like a bad Sunday pot roast. The beans and rice were undercooked and the tortillas were rockhard. We’re thinking it’s CostaVida from here on out ???? Read more
Found a bug in our food after eating half of it of course! I called the restaurant to speak with the manager. A girl claiming... to be the shift leader acted like it was kinda funny and no big deal and said she would have the manager call me. I haven'theard from anyone yet and its been almost a week. I will NEVER go back to this or any other Cafe Rio. Read more
Great location! We’ve never had any problems. Our favorite time to come is Tuesdays for discount tacos! We also love the pork... and beef burritos, enchilada style of course! They also have a cute outdoor eating area. Download the app! Read more
Friendly staff and delicious food. I recommend going in person because ordering takeout or delivery sometimes means your burrito... is less stuffed. If you're like me and always are too scared to get anything but the mild sauce, I recommend you try the medium!It's actually pretty good! Read more
