Great staff and atmosphere, reasonable price. Food is diner quality, I'm a real cheese guy so omelets with Velveeta is a No-No.

On a Sunday when the restaurant was scheduled to close at 2pm, we arrived at 1:20pm. That would seem to be enough time for staff... to serve a couple and still leave at the normal time. We weren?t greeted so we asked if we could sit anywhere. Eventuallysomeone came over to give us a carafe of water and menus and told us our server would be there shortly. When she arrived 3-4minutes later, she never greeted us or told us her name. She instead said, ?Are you ready to order?? The food was good, butservice with a smile goes a long way. Typical small-town place. I liked the red theme. Staff were very busy and seemed quite overwhelmed. I ordered chocolate chip... waffles with strawberries and coffee as did my daughter. Without whipped cream. A suggestion for this would be to have thechocolate room temperature before adding them on top or mix in the batter before cooking. I?m not one for the cannedstrawberries and didn?t know that?s what I was going to be served, these too were cold. You add two cold items on top of a semihot waffle, and the waffle, by the time it gets to the table is now cold and semi soggy. The counter for guests and the dirtydishes station should be switched. Fastest service compare to anywhere. I'm still surprised every time how quickly. Friendly servers. Good is generally very... good. I think of of the best places to eat in Lodi. It's a breakfast and lunch place. Wish it was open more at nights andlonger. It's a favorite of Lodi. Read more
