Ill keep this as short as possible - This was by far our worst dining experience ever in Lodi. I am truly disappointed... considering all the 5 star reviews. Wasn't busy when we arrived this past Sunday at 12:15. Put our order in at 12:35 (husbandsburger, fish n chips for me and corn dogs for my grandson) I asked if they could put a rush on the mini corn dogs as he wasfalling alseep and we had waited over 30 minutes already. (we came from the Science Museum) Many ppl had came in during thistime, bar was full. Corn Dogs made it to us at 1:14 and our food had not even been started! I paid for the wings that we orderedwhen we arrived, my cider and kids meal - Offer to comp anything...? Of course not and I did not ask. I heard our server tellthe bartender that we wanted to cancel our order and she asked if we already had our food. He said no, it wasnt ready and it hadbeen 45 minutes. It looked as if she printed the ticket for him. She said just give this to them, theyre paying for this... ? Ihad full intention on paying - that was kind of an insulting comment in my opinion. I also had the intention of eating lunch butthat didnt happen! Lack of courtesy and employees. We will not be returning. I feel really bad for the server guy, he had to bushis tables, wipe them clean, sweep under and around and nobody was helping anyone in there. Hope they can train their cooks toget mini corn dogs out in less than 45 minutes for a future family with expectations for a nice Sunday lunch. RIDICULOUS!!! Read more

Ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich, with some buffalo fries. I really liked my sandwich, the bun was great. The fries were... very buffalo flavored with blue cheese crumbles. The presentation on the plate was fantastic, I mean look at that picture andtell me you don?t want a bite. Porters pub was a nice Dinnertime spot. On a Monday night I was seated promptly and waited about15 minutes for my food, which is acceptable to me for a pub. I would return here again and look forward to trying more of themenu. Read more
Love coming here. Service is always phenomenal, food is just absolutely delicious. Tried something new, their Thai wrap with... sweet potato fries. So glad I changed things up and ordered this. Super yummy! Read more
Upon arrival, we waited patiently outside with our dogs for seating. We let the gentlemen inside know we would be out side. I... assumed he was a host but apparently he was not. Still, one would assume this would be sufficient enough to get a hosts?attention to advise we were outside waiting for a seat. Long story short, it wasn?t communicated, we decided to get out of thedoorway with our two dogs and locate a seat outside. One host got a little rude with us for doing this and insisted we shouldhave advised a host upon arrival. I explained that I did this with the gentlemen at the door, but I was supposed to know theperson at the door was apparently not the host?? I don?t know, but the experience at the restaurant started off wrong. However,our server came through with excellent service. I hate that I didn?t get her name to acknowledge her outstanding service. Drinkswere yummy! Food menu was one of the best, for at least my taste buds. I love bar food, and this gave me full plates of thattype of genre. We got the Bacon Cheddar tots as a starter?delicious, and not too filling. We also got the bacon grilled cheese,taco salad, and some type of Chicken Wrap! All were top notch items! We ordered the pastrami on rye and the fat boy. Pastrami sandwich was too oily had butter on each side (fingers sobbed). Fat boy... too greasy and over cooked for a medium rare order. My stomach can?t come back. Service was good. Read more
Friendly and attentive service are hallmarks of this restaurant. I had the Porter Club which felt like it had rotisserie style... turkey. It was filling but I wish it would have had more flavor. The sidewinder fries are a MUST! They have a rewarding crunchand pair well with sandwiches and burgers. Their turkey melt was described by a friend as "solid" and said the bacon was theanchor of the sandwich. Friend said they wouldn't have it again if it didn't come with bacon.
