I like to bring my out of town clients to the Lodi Papavlos for lunch or dinner. The other day was a nice cooler afternoon in... Lodi so we sat outside under one of the umbrellas. We received excellent service from our server Jackie and the food wasexcellent and price fairly. Try the Greek salad you won't be disappointed. Papapavlos in Lodi is one of my favorite places. I will give the food 5 stars, from previous visits. This time I would give them... 0 stars if possible. We called today, to see if we could reserve a table for 3 for dinner. I requested inside since it was sohot outside. When we arrived for our 7:30 reservation, we were sat outside and told the waiter would be with us shortly. A younglady brought us some water and bread, no oil and basalmic, then excused herself. The waiter walked by us at least 4 times andnever acknowledged us. We sat there for over 20 minutes with no greeting from the waiter and no one to take even our drink orappetizer order. We left. We are very disappointed as this is my husband and I favorite restaurant in the area, butunfortunately this is the second time in a row we have had horrible service and it keeps getting worse each time now. My wife and I were visiting our daughter and she suggested this place. We were greeted right away and seated. The waitress was... very attentive. Since my wife and I are doing the Keto life style, there were plenty of options on the menu. We both had the bayshrimp and avocado salads. They were large and filling. Had a great experience. Just had lunch here for the 1st time and it was ahhhhmaaazing!!! The calamari appetizer was so delicious!!! I had the gyro... plate, my husband had the steak sandwich and we were equally pleased. Our server was absolutely delightful and the bartender wasvery helpful with my wine choice. I highly recommend!! Read more
I love love love this restaurant by far my favourite. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Also the food was amazing and... fresh you can really taste everything. The food was retry good, although it seemed a bit pricey for what it was. But the chicken in my salad was flavored well, and all... of the ingredients were tasty and fresh. And they give you unlimited fresh pita, which was so good! It has a nice ambience,including nice outdoor seating, and the service was very attentive. They also have plenty of parking in the lot next to therestaurant. I drove down from Elk Grove to meet a friend for lunch and the location was pretty convenient. We visited this restaurant yesterday for late lunch. Nice place good food. Our waiter was very patient since our group had a few... requests. I wish I would have taken pictures though of the food.
