A jewel in the country. Good down home cooking. Loved the fresh market for the best country bacon in the world.

Loved this out of the way southern buffet! My husband and I found it when looking for a place to have lunch when visiting... River's Bridge State Park. The girl behind the line was so friendly and helpful. Loved everything especially the ribs, mac &cheese and collard greens. Everything was delicious though. The girl suggested we take home slices of the lemon pound cake (thatshe made!) with us as we were too full to have some there. It was also delicious. Highly recommend this place! Read more

Steak so tender it almost melts in your mouth. The sides are great and the rolls are delicious. Well worth the price.

I went on a Saturday which is when they supposedly have the larger buffet. This was my first time and the grilled pork chops... were overcooked and DRY! They didn't even have the fish stew which is supposedly only available on the weekends except, itWasn't. I heard GREAT things about their fried chicken so I was READY for some good fried chicken, except, it WASN'T. It was hoton the outside, from being under the heat lamp but was definitely NOT hot past that. And for THIS, I drove an hour and a half, one way specifically to visit this restaurant. Read more

Good food, friendly service, and great prices. It?s worth the ride in your vehicle or on your motorcycle. Wednesday is home... cooked food, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is barbecue. It?s well worth it. You won?t be sorry. Read more

Random road trip stop for lunch on the way to Charleston from Atlanta. Not much to look at from the outside but the friendly... employees and the amazing country cooking buffet made it well worth the stop. I had fried chicken and shrimp, butter beans, cucumber salad and Mac n cheese. Homemade pork sausage was pretty damn tasty as well as the banana pudding and pound cake. Iwould go out of my way to eat here again. Read more
