My first time at a Guthrie's. Overall, Good. Hot food. Good tasting food. Clean tables. Attentive staff. Good value. Clean... restrooms. Specifics: Sauce style is similar to Zaxby's but a little weaker (less tangy). Batter on chicken is better. Slaw isa little bland... They use less mayo. Theeee go to chicken tender spot you didn?t know you needed to visit. Yes, the chicken is better than Zaxbys. The food is great-... always hot and fresh (especially the crisp crinkle cut fries) The drive through is quick. Ant at the drive through window issuper friendly and efficient. Went through the drive thru today for the first time to try them and the young girl didn?t put the lid on my drink well and as... she handed it to me it come off and spilled all over me and all in my car. She started laughing and closes the window and goesback to taking orders. She didn?t even offer to give me any napkins to clean the drink off of me or off the inside of car whichhad now soaked my clothes and seat. I had to ask for her for some and she gave me about 4 which was no where near enough and isstill laughing as I was waiting for my food. I called and the young girl who answered was rude and hung up on me. I had to callback and I asked to speak to a manager. They answer a place of business with a rude hello. I call back same rude person saysshe can take a message because the manager wasn?t there. I will be taking the bill to them for the cleanup of my car and willnever do business with them ever again!! Terrible customer service! I have been a regular customer here since they opened. My family enjoys their food. I usually order 2... family meals when I come in. I went through the drive thru today and ordered my usual and noticed it was about $10 higher thannormal. I asked the girl why and she said they raised the prices but haven?t changed the signs yet. I told her that wasn?t rightand they should honor the advertised price. The girl then catches an attitude with me and says ?DO YOU WANT YOUR ORDER OR NOT??I did, but not anymore. This was worth the extra drive off the exit! The food was freshly prepared and has a very down home taste. I haven't had a bad... Guthrie's meal yet and it doesn't appear that's going to happen. This is by far the worst Guthrie?s I have been to my food was Luke warm and the tenders was awful like they was recooked and... very small. I?m a big Guthrie?s fan from Georgia, Florida,Alabama and have been to one in Kentucky as well and this one shouldbe a shame . So glad we finally have one of these! Everything was fresh and delicious! The sauce is a little spicy to me but my family loved... it. The bun is soft and has chicken tenders inside. The chicken tender combo comes with about 5 tenders, fries, and a drink. Iwish they had some type of dessert but we will be back! Read more
