Absolutely fantastic! My fiance (now wife) and I hosted our rehearsal dinner here this past Thursday the 27th. Everything was... excellent - the space, service, food, and drinks! On top of it, the price was very reasonable compared to other venues we lookedat. Would easily book here again for another event! Read more

Had reservations, got seated quickly. Waited between 10 -15 mins for a waitress. Waitress was very nice and friendly but would... disappear. Took forever for anything. We finally order. We got chicken and rice soup, not very good. Had no taste. Now we waitand wait and wait. Finally get our food, I got tutu mare and my wife got shrimp diablo. Both were excellent. Very tasty. Thegravy(sauce) had a unique taste, really good. Was there for over 2 hours for 2 plates of pasta, everything just took forever. Ithink I'd go back because the pasta was really good but just be aware you're going to be there for quite a while. Read more

Food was good. House salad had too much dressing for my liking. I should have ordered on the side. Lobster ravioli was al dente... and tasty. Sauce was too watery but the raviolis are big with a lot of lobster filling. You can feel the strong lobster taste.Service was 5 stars. Shout out to Cecily my server. Very attentive and pleasant. Friday at 5:30pm and the place was busy so planaccordingly. Read more

I am excited to write this view because my family and I had such a great experience dinning at Mama Onesta's . It was our first... time . I made a reservation on Father's day to celebrate my husband's special day . It is a nice small restaurant . First had myfavorite wine came cold and hubby ordered watermelon martini with fresh hot garlic bread knots . Then we ordered Fried AsiagoCheese Stuffed Gnocchi and Mozzarella Carrozza they both were delicious specially the Gnocchi. Then I ordered Collosal Shrimp (perfectly cooked shrimp and pasta with Lobster sauce which was a new taste to me and I loved every bit of it ) Hubby had ChickenVesuvio another authentic delicious Italian dish that we loved and would definitely order again ???? For dessert I had pistachioGelato which was perfect also had mixed Gelato ( with all flavors together) that was a unique taste . Tiramisu tasted great aswell as their chocolate mousse . Everything we have tried here had unique taste that will make us visit again to try other menuselections. Our waitress Yasmin was super helpful and friendly. Added this small authentic restaurant to my must visitrestaurants list . Read more

My family has been coming to Mamma's since they opened in 2008. This past Friday night my husband and I decided to dine there... since it's been awhile, I like to try different items on the menu, but always go back to a veal dish - I have two favorites -Veal Piccata and Veal Onesta. I chose the Veal Onesta this time out and it was excellent! My husband had his usual, VealFrancese, also excellent. We also shared a cannoli for dessert. Mamma Onesta's is definitely one of our favorite restaurants!! Read more

My entire family loves this restaurant and chooses to celebrate most occasions here. I had the blackened salmon in a lobster... cream sauce that was on special and if it was added to the menu I’d come here weekly! I don’t care for pasta so I wishthey’d offer the salmon special permanently. Their creamy Italian dressing is incredible as is the chicken parmigiana. We arevery thankful to have such a great local restaurant! Read more

Nice place in Lockport on State St. Comfortable dining room, kind of old style Italian. Clean, good staff. The service is a... little slow, but we weren't in a hurry. THE FOOD: Started with Bruschetta... was pretty good. Average. The house salad wasdelicious. Fresh, crisp, tasty. Had creamy garlic dressing which was a little sweet, but good. I like to get some meatballs whenI try an Italian restaurant, so I ordered a side order with my entree. The main was Penne pasta with Italian sausage andportobello mushrooms. The meatballs are great.....meaty, flavorful and not bulked with filler. The pasta was OK, the sausage isgreat...and the dish is not overly oily (fantastic), but there wasn't much in the way of mushrooms. Did not taste much, or seemany bits. The sauce they have has good oregano and Italian spice flavor, but is on the sweet side too. Read more
