Quite impressed with the ramen noodle bowls when you can get them. Last week they ran out of noodles, and this week they ran out... of pork. If they are trying to maintain fresh stocked ingredients then I can accept that. I'm not sure if they are shortstaffed, but I basically stared at the wall for 15 minutes after being seated. This is the second time this happened to me.There were 2 other people in the restaurant so it's not like it was packed. Good food but hard to get served in a timely manner.The gentleman at the till spends most of his time on his phone rather than tending to customers. Read more
Really nice place with really good food. I think it'd be better if you and your guests were sharing your meals here as the food... didn't come out all at once like a western style restaurant, but rather as it was made. As well don't bring any lowered cars tothis restaurant as there are massive potholes in the parking lot. All in all a pretty great place though. Would recommend. Read more
The staff were nice, restaurant alright. It wasn't very busy. I ordered the Philadelphia roll and Yam roll. The yam roll was... small but it did taste satisfactory. The tempura added a nice crunch. I was a little skeptical about the Philadelpia roll. Also,on the small side, but it was the Salmon that threw me off because Philadelphia rolls usually have smoked salmon not raw salmon.The experience was okay. Read more
One of the best bites of food in Lloydminster. Black garlic ramen is incredible (insert chef kiss). Restaurant is clean and has... a nice vibe to it. Highly recommended. Read more
Wednesday night all you can eat was great. The 1st order came out at a reasonable time but, due to how busy the restaurant got... and the shortage of staff. The second order did take quite a bit longer. Still, the sushi and tempura was very tasty andwould recommend eating here. Cheers. Read more
My absolute favourite sushi place in the world. The staff is always so friendly & the owner is always so nice & comes to chat... with us. I moved from Lloyd but anytime I?m passing through I will definitely be stopping here (as I did today). They have thebest quality sushi for the best price. & they have a wide variety of items! The sushi rolls are fresh and flavourful. The other menu items are mostly okay. Unfortunately they seem to often be out of one... ingredient or another (possibly due to covid); but you can still find delicious alternatives. Read more
Walking in the doors you wouldn't think it was a sushi restaurant. Looks more like a roughed in BBQ or western restaurant. Zero... atmosphere. The music was all over the place, but definitely not appropriate for a sushi place (80's and 90's love songs). Thestaff were all sitting at a booth. No uniform or anything identifying them as staff. Was seated and was given an a la carte menuwith no mention of an all you can eat option. Luckily I had read about the new all you can eat so I asked. Menu was decent.First round came out and was beautiful. Great visual. Taste was on point. Great bite. Went down hill from there. Wait times gotmuch longer and food quality dropped as it got busier. Chicken bites had bone and cartilage in almost every piece. As appealingas egg shell in an egg salad sandwich. Final vegetable roll came out and was a surprise to say the least. First vegetable rollI have ever had that didnt have a vegetable in it (avocado and cucumber). Was also a cold roll. Not a good bite. Should havewarm tempura veg rolls. Server came to table once to inquire on food. Did not ask about drink refills until we were done. Askedfor bill and had to wait 10 minutes. Kept forgetting until he passed our table. Not a great visit. Has potential but weak effortby staff and management/ owners. First time in, most likely last time unless major changes are made. Read more
