Govind ji @ the Bar is a good host. Even though there was a big party and we were only party of two. He made sure of everything... is taken care on our table. Food came out so good. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. This will be my to goplace everytime I visit Detroit. Must try Makki di Roti, Sarso Da Saaag, Rumali Roti & Kadhi Pakoda. This place is worth waitfor an hour. Read more

Excellent food, excellent service and YES! it makes you feel like you are in INDIA. Best restaurant I ever visited. The delhi... style butter chicken and the garam garam rumali roti ..ahh ha , was so yummy ???? This place is great! Atmosphere is chilland cool but the staff is also really friendly. Restaurant owner is now going an extra mile to satisfy their clients. By addingfree dessert we got ?Jalebi?. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. Read more

Have been to many Indian restaurants around this area but this is the first time visiting this place. I was impressed by the... ambience, food is at the next level. We took chicken, lamb and vegetable biryanis. All of them were delicious, cooked with rightamount of spices. They have a big banquet hall for parties and celebrations. Read more

Very nice ambiance with beautiful interiors. We went for lunch and the food was pretty good (for the price). They did not have a... wide variety of options in their buffet but we enjoyed the food. We will definitely go there again. Read more

This was my first time at Punjab Indian Cuisine. Fantastic ambience! You are greeted with India's vibes of Chetak scooter,... rickshaws! The restaurant itself is brightly colored, high ceiling. It was a busy evening on Mother's Day. The servers weredoing their best to keep up with the crowd. Service was good. Talking about dishes, the Tandoori Chicken, Lollipop Chicken,Butter chicken and Mango lassi were spot on! Lip smacking! Goat Biryani was decent. The Chana Bhatura definitely can improve. This being Punjab cuisine, I had high expectation for this dish. Chana was ok, Bhatura was actually a larger Puri... It was notmade from Maida and was missing that flakiness and that little fermented dough taste. Will try their buffet one day. Read more

I finally had the chance to try this place after the remodel. I remember the original building as Stoyan's, but the new hosts... have done a great job creating a large banquet room on the ground floor, with a bar and dining upstairs. Our host and bartenderdid an exceptional job recommending drinks, appetizer, and entrees. Everything was delicious. The only disappointment was thatthere was no room for dessert. I highly recommend. I've eaten at many, many Indian restaurants in this country. This is hands down the best restaurant I've eaten in, in the... US. Especially for people familiar with North Indian food. Exactly the same taste as in India. Speaking with the staff there, the chefs are from India. On top of that the service is amazing. They are quick and responsive! On top of that the ambience isamazing. For non-Indian friends they have many authentic props from the Punjabi culture there. I wish this place and people allthe success! I highly, highly recommend this place. Read more
