I really enjoyed the chicken n potatoes.

Sooo good had a mix shrimp,fish,ribs,chicken patato wedges. It was perfectly amazing. Mmmmm all of it perfectly golden perfect.

My husband and I decided to try Mr. Chicken and we?re so glad we did! Their ribs were so tender they fell off the bone! The... broasted chicken was crispy and prepared better than other places we?ve tried in the past. I wasn?t the biggest fan of thecoleslaw, but the flavor of it was good. Definitely a no-frills place. I love their menu though. The people here are pretty friendly, even when they are seemingly very... busy. The men's restroom is not stinky, and I really appreciate that. My whole family absolutely love their ribs;falls-off-the-bone tender, and good sauce. My Mom loves their cod and I love the perch. We usually forgo the sides. We mostlyget carry-out and they have never gotten our order wrong (which is something I've come to expect with Carry-out). We've got abig family so our bill gets pretty high (3 of the slab-only ribs, multiple 5-pc cod and perch orders) so yeah, expensive familydinner. But, totally worth it! Read more

Should rename to Mr. Bland. Broasted chicken was ok, not super flavorful or juicy. Cod fish pieces were very small, also lacking... juiciness or good flavor. French fries and Broasted potatoes also devoid of any flavor. Prices were ok. Coleslaw was better thanmany others though. If you love ultra bland food, this is your place, otherwise, you can get better chicken and fish elsewhere. Read more

My friends and I came out to Redford to eat at another Restaurant. Sadly, we discovered BET & Jessie's Fish and Chips was out of... business. I got on yelp and found Mr. Chicken. I saw that they had been around since 1972. So, we decided to check it out. Wearrived, and we got seated. Our waitress Riley was delightful. My buddy Craig and I had the fish and broasted potatoes. Paul hadchicken breast and broasted potatoes. The food was amazing. I also want to point out I am not a big fan of coleslaw, but I haveto say theirs was yummy.
