I ordered a chicken philly sub online and ended up with a beef philly. Was already home so I ate it. It was soggy and bready.... The au jus or whatever they use had a bitter taste to me. Best to stick with Charley's or Penn Station for a better phillycheese steak. Read more
We get sandwiches from here at least once a week and for the most part we are usually most satisfied and happy with what we get... in service and quality- Definitely since the pandemic there has been a negative change in the service, cleanliness and quality-there used to be a level of consistency and quality in their service and food- now it?s hit or miss and it all depends on whois working. There was a lady in front of me who ordered some sandwiches and the lettuce they were putting on her sandwiches wasso old- it was brown- The guy was even digging from the bottom so that he didn?t take the brown stuff on top. It was gross Icouldn?t believe that she allowed him to do that and I couldn?t believe that he thought it was OK. So when it came time to makemy sandwich I asked them to get fresh lettuce. The response I got was oh I didn?t realize it had gotten that bad ?really? Whenhe took it to the back, he showed it to someone and they asked if that was from today and his reply was no? really? How old wasthat lettuce for it to get like that? And why did you think it was okay to put it out? You don?t check quality before puttingitems out? Because if it was spoiled and you made all those online sandwiches and in store customers sandwiches usingit...??????????????????? If you do that with lettuce what do you do with the deli meat? Or other items? I thought he wouldreturn with a fresh batch of nicely cut green lettuce and instead he returned with lettuce that looked like it was just about toturn but wasn?t brown like the stuff that was on the bottom. This Jersey Mike's location is inconsistent with their sandwich making. Sometimes I get a good sandwich and sometimes I do not.... Recently went in to this location and they missed pickles and jalapenos on my wife's sandwich. Also, on both our sandwiches theybarely put any oil or vinegar. I have been to other locations where they make it perfectly. I find that with any location, Ihave to watch the sandwich maker's every move to ensure it's made right. For next time (in store order/pick up), I will not payuntil my entire order is fully prepared/wrapped up and bagged. Read more
Without a doubt, this place will compete with any other for authentic East Coast subs. I was a huge fan of White House subs in... Atlantic City, and missed it when I left. After ordering a Hilly Cheesesteak here, it was as if I never left. Authentic,tasty, and big enough for the most demanding tummies. Their regular Italian subs are very good, too! First timers will beasked to let them make it the traditional way with extra seasonings and sauces. Do it, you will not be disappointed. I've had a few experiences that didn't live up to my expectations, but most times they are great. The subs here are much better... than the other sub chains, it blows Subway out of the water, and offers hot subs, which makes it a more diverse option thanJimmy John's. I also appreciate that there is a grill and the hot items are cooked in front of you. The rosemary parm breadshould be more advertised, it's the best bread option. Read more
Super friendly. The staff remembers their regulars. They are a very efficient team. I also prefer Jersey's to other sub places.... There are other subplaces that you mostly get bread with your sandwich but this place you get more than just mostly bread.Definitely evens out your sandwich and you feel full. It also has a mini option for those that don't eat a lot so you don't feellike you're wasting food. You can even get a giant size and you can have one sandwich now and one sandwich later. Read more
